This mentality is right out of the Old Testament prophets, where gaining pleasure at the destruction of people and cities (and livestock. Livestock v important in those days: a cow was worth about three women)is par for the course.

One can of course cut a bunch of early iron age goat-herders considerable slack: they lived in harsh, poverty stricken times and didn't know any better. We can therefore partly excuse their tribal mentalities. Coming from a twenty-first century person, this sort of thing is utterly despicable. It makes me ashamed to be of the same species as TrustHIM.

I fancy that TrustHIM is a bit of a God-mocking-enabler. Who doesn't feel the urge to mock such raging, all-consuming idiocy as displayed by TrustHIM? When one realizes that the moron's outlook is completely informed by, and dominated by, the Bible and God, then one realizes that God, in His turn, will be mocked too.

Ha Ha! God is a cretinous dolt if He kills people in earthquakes in New Zealand in order to give a signal to raving loonies in America. Raving loonies that, in any case, if any such signal really does exist, then they completely misinterpret it. I know that for a fact, I Googled earthquake, whereas, obviously, TrustHIM didn't.

I'm a bit confused. The comment he was directly responding to was "The birth pains are getting stronger." While I have no doubt that it has something to do with the earthquake in regards to the Rapture (which is deplorable), what exactly does it mean? Why the hell would he use that wording? It just sounds amazingly stupid.
