I wanna see you say to a proud Scotsman how his kilt makes him homosexual.

Aye, that's a good way to get caber-tossed into the nearest loch.

Percy Q. Shunn
This is perhaps one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read.

Didn't you know that every clothing trend in the last 3000 years supported the gender dichotomy of mid-twentieth-century America?
2/28/2011 4:30:26 AM
Not sure if Poe.

Yeah, Jesus wore denim jeans and a jacket, kind of like this guy, but without the sign.

It's Steven L. Anderson of Faithful Word Baptist Church. It's like Landover Baptist, except in real life and in earnest.

It seems true that Jesus would have had short hair, yes, but even the most basic research would show that Jesus would have worn robes. Just because pants had been invented before then doesn't mean that they were worn in every country from the date of their invention. Cretin.
2/28/2011 4:49:08 AM
They also painted him to look caucasian. I don't hear you complaining about that.

Pants, no pants..Who gives a flying fuck?
Apart from you...
2/28/2011 5:15:12 AM
They cast lots for his seamless robe.. it was appropriate for living in the Middle East.. The breeches in the bible are clearly undergarments... I also think that Jesus is too white in those paintings of him, he would have been dark.

Huey Freeman and "The Adventures of Black Jesus" would like to have a word with you.
I'd grab a lance and rape you with it myself but I have new clothes and like Judge Fudge, I'm far too busy being delicious. Please administer the lance-enema upon yourself.

Since most Middle-east barbers seem to live here in the West, I suppose Jebus must have had pretty long hair.
Oh and, what with Samson, Mr Anderson?

> What I believe is based upon the Bible, not “historical evidence,” but the historical record also proves that men in the ancient Middle East wore pants. For example, at the famous battle of Thermopylae (480BC), every historian reports that the Persian (Iranian) soldiers were wearing pants down to their ankles, while the homosexual, perverted Spartans were wearing short skirts or even less! <
So historians don't count unless where you want them to. And I would expect the guys with their pants down around their ankles might be the perverts. And where did they get these pants? Oh, yeah, at Thy Gap.
What was the construction company that built the pyramids and Stonehenge?

From the frozen north, Death cometh
These same type of paintings have also given people the idea that “Jesus did not wear pants.” Some have even made utterly ridiculous and bizarre statements such as, “pants had not been invented yet,” or “they didn’t have pants back then.”
No, they probably had invented pants, but chose to wear robes in their leisure hours, kinda like they do nowadays. Do you know why? Because it's fucking hot in middle east and robes have open bottoms to let air in to cool your body, you dolt.
For example, at the famous battle of Thermopylae (480BC), every historian reports that the Persian (Iranian) soldiers were wearing pants down to their ankles, while the homosexual, perverted Spartans were wearing short skirts or even less!
Yes, soldiers would wear pants, because robes would get in the way of your killing. A child can figure that one out.
As for the Spartan homosexuality. They had almost no homosexual partnership in Sparta, because every man was bound by law to marry a woman at the age of 30 and to produce healthy strong children from that marriage. They also regarded other Greeks weaker for not forcing the same kind of marital laws.

I'm just waiting for "Steven L Anderson" to tell us that ancient men wore suit&tie, and ancient women wore petticoat skirts. Like it was in the good old 1950s! And that everything started to go downhill since then when these godless, long-haired liberal hippies abandoned this ancient christian wardrobe tradition ...
2/28/2011 5:42:44 AM
God doesn't like long hair? What a petty minded fucker.
2/28/2011 5:44:01 AM
The Dumb is strong in this one.

According to verse 15, the “covering” referred to is long hair. Therefore, according to this passage, it is a shame and dishonor to Christ for a man to have long hair.
Damn. Sucks to be Samson then.
Sodomite homosexuals such as Michelangelo painted Jesus to look effeminate and to have long hair in order to make him fit their own queer image.
It's not gay or effeminate to have long hair. Although I'd have LOVED to see you tell the Vikings that they were effeminate.
These same type of paintings have also given people the idea that “Jesus did not wear pants.”
That's actually most likely accurate as that's the kind of clothing worn in that region at that time.
What I believe is based upon the Bible, not “historical evidence”
No, you're not even doing THAT right. You claimed right in the beginning that only effeminate men have long hair, entirely forgetting about a longed-haired man who killed armies with a fucking donkey's jaw bone.

" every historian reports that the Persian (Iranian) soldiers were wearing pants down to their ankles, while the homosexual, perverted Spartans were wearing short skirts or even less! "
Can you tell me who won that battle?
2/28/2011 6:14:24 AM
A man with short or no hair... is a slave, and is NOT an individual.
Pants are harder to make than kilts.
And less practical.
Only horse riding cultures wore pants... everyone else wore kilts or loincloths.
The Persians were cavalrymen. They wore pants because their horsemanship dictated the need for it.
The Spartans wore kilts. They fought on foot.
Your fixation on imagined homosexuality suggests that you are deeply closeted
2/28/2011 6:17:53 AM
I prefer no pants when I'm trying to perform a flying fuck.
2/28/2011 6:45:23 AM
1- EVERYONE had long hair back then.
2- Jesus DIDN'T wear pants because almost everyone wore robes
3- Yeah, and the Spartans kicked Persian ass.
