Apart from covering ourselves from elements of cold and heat a world-view without God has no explanation of clothing.
Shielding ourselves from the elements is more than enough explanation for the advent of clothing. Inseting your "god" into it is a superfulous and unnecessary attempt to steal credit for your "god", especially when you have pointed out the very reason for clothing youself.
No other creatures of the earth attempt to cloth themselves to the level that humans do
No other creatues eat with utensils, should we give a "god", specifically the christian "god", credit fo that advance as well?
Genesis 3 gives the most logical explanation of the need for clothes.
"Magic man says so." isn't an explanation.
Having been created in perfection man sinned and realized his nakedness.
Funny how that only applies, almost always because of endemic religious indoctrination, to societies that attach shame and/or sin to nakedness.
I challenge atheist thinkers to give a logical explanation of clothing that does not include God.
Temperature, Wind, Rain, Snow, Biting insects, Stinging insects, Thorns, Sunburn, Camoflage, Etc... Any of those alone and many others beside explains the need for clothing, and not a damn one of them needs invoke your "god" or anyone elses. This has to be, without a doubt, of the bloody stupidest arguments for the existence of 'god" that I have ever seen.
