It's a good thing "God" doesn't exist then, isn't it?
I can't believe I used to like that crazy bitch. >_>

God must have missed me with His shame ray. Also, unlike some people, I don't take moral direction from voices in my head.

They show those things all the time, usually because the gay characters have Christian families who despise them or want to change them. If they ever show gay people being happy, people like you whine about it.

"but TV shows never show the downside to homosexuality:"
Have you seen "Boys Don't Cry"? Granted, it's not a TV show, it's a movie, but it does show the downside. It shows how bigots will kill someone they don't like simply because of the person's sexuality.

Really? I mean really?
"But, I'm guilty of being part of a few movies that may have been a bad influence on young people."
Does this mean the same to others on this board as it suggests to me. If so, what a confession. Move, over Linda.

Your stint on SNL is over. You can stop acting like an idiot now.
Oh, you're not acting? Never mind.

Oh yeah, the gay lifestyle is so glorified in the movie Boys Don't Cry. (Damn it, someone beat me to the BDC reference.)
Most movies/TV shows including gays that I have seen, either deals with the fact that it can be hard to realize that you are gay, but that you are OK the way you are, or the gayness is not pointed out in any way, any more than blondness or tallness. It's just there, as a natural part of life.
(Maybe that's more furiating than anything else, to these dolts...)
Murder and robbery are crimes (and very harmful to others) and should therefore be punished, gossiping can hurt other people and should be done with moderation.
Homosexualty, between consenting adults, hurts no-one, and bothers no-one (except bussybody bigots).
Homosexuals are neither more nor less lonely than others, and as long as their family respects them there are neither more nor less broken families either.
Any disease that afflicts homosexual people afflicts heterosexal people too. Lesbians actually have a lower rate of STDs than either heteros or male gays.

The other sins always seem to be punished or redeemed, but TV shows never show the downside to homosexuality
So? They don't show the downside of coveting either or of wearing mixed fabrics. I've seen teens not honoring their mother and father, I've seen movies about other gods, I've seen many actors take the lords name in vain. Nobody gives a damn about the Bible's outdated rules certainly not movie companies who are there to make an enjoyable experience for the audience not to beat them over the head with ancient morality.

The other sins always seem to be punished or redeemed, but TV shows never show the downside to homosexuality: the loneliness, shame, broken families and marriages, diseases.
Ever think there would be fewer broken marriages if homosexuals weren’t pressured into sham marriages to begin with?

...the downside to homosexuality: the loneliness, shame, broken families and marriages, diseases.
Your logic is critically flawed, Vicky. All of this happens to hetero couples too. What's their "sin?"
And shame is what you feel due to outside influence. If people didn't care what others thought of them, there would be no shame.
But, I'm guilty of being part of a few movies that may have been a bad influence on young people. I'm very sorry to anyone I led away from God.
Yet I'll bet dollars to donuts that you still cash those royalty checks. How's UHF payin' these days?

You made me gay Victoria. Your horrible sketches on SNL made a full fledged homosexual. I looked upon your skits as a fully heterosexual TRUE CHRISTIAN boy, but when I saw what females could bring unto the world I swore off vagina forever. Because of you I now love the cock. Be sorry, Victoria, be very sorry.

Boys Don't Cry wasn't about "the gay lifestyle"; Brandon Teena was a straight transsexual man, not a gay woman. Victoria's point is still stupid on its face, but there are many better counter-examples than that film.

'The shame does not come from 'society' but from God. So, even if the gays get everyone in the world to accept their behavior as "normal," there will still be shame'

Oh forget it, Victoria! If I tried to explain what was wrong with an allegedly omniscient god acting this way your too few active brain cells might explode. Then someone would have to be paid to spoon feed you food, versus some cockroach you pay to spoon feed you this crap.
Chew on this for a while: who creates and attaches social stigma? Elements of SOCIETY - and not very nice ones at that!

What are you talking about? Plenty of television shows have delved into how homosexuality can tear families apart due to their inability to accept one or more gay characters. Plenty of television shows have shown how lonely you'll be when you're shunned by an ignorant and bigoted community, a community made up of people, oddly enough, very similar to you.
By the way, any bad influence on people you've had is steadily being erased by the positive impact of your recent homophobic whining, you're helping to speed along the death of homophobia by discrediting homophobes with your stupidity. I would shake your hand to thank you, if it didn't require I be within hand-shaking distance of such a deluded piece of human garbage.
