A lot of the people in the positions you just mentioned (police, military, judiciary, politics, academia) are doing things which are far, far worse than being gay. Why don't you focus your energy on stopping that stuff instead of worrying about what consenting adults do in their own bedrooms.

Awww, so the poor poor landlords have to rent out to the EVIL GAYS and can't tell them off? Tell you what, as long as I pay my rent, don't damage anything and don't do anything illegal, it's none of the landlords business what I do in my bedroom. Same goes for employers, as long as I do my job, it's none of his business what I do in my free time and with whom I decide to spend my life. Why do you always care so much about what other people do in their beds? It's none of your business either.

I view fundie christianity as something of low moral character, and fundamentalist christians to be engaged in immoral conduct. Does that mean as a landlord, I can deny to rent an apartment to these kind of persons?

1. Sexual perversion does not always mean homosexuality and vice versa. (Although I will concede that anyone -- straight or gay -- can be a perv all the same.)
2. There's a time and a place fir everything, including perversity. Why should my perversity have any influence over anything else, when it's not the right time for it?
3. if I don't do any damage to my landlord's physical property, who cares what kinky games I might play there with other consenting adults?

The definitions of sexual perversion, low moral character and immoral conducts vary in society. You don't have the final word on this, my definition is just as valid as yours.
Sexual perversion to me are things like rape, child abuse, infidelity, trafficking and the parts of prostitution that are more like sexual slavery.
Low moral character and immoral conduct to me are things like strong egoism, disrespect, antipathy, hatred, vengeance, discrimination.
But you're absolutely right in that there is no basis for denying homosexuals the same rights as heterosexual.
Good to finally have that settled!
