Are You a Pro-Gay Bigot?

2. Do you participate in name-calling of those who object to homosexuality -- names like bigot, hate-monger, etc.?

3. Do you believe ‘gays’ have been deprived of the right to marry? Doesn’t pretty much everyone have the right to marry now -- to a person of the opposite sex?

5. Do you believe some people will just inevitably be homosexual, and that there’s a set percentage of the population that will always be ‘gay’, and that this won’t increase, even if a culture embraces ‘gay’ sex? Do you think homosexual experimentation could never become ‘chic’ and popular? Is there no risk for the people involved or our culture if this happens?

9. Do you believe that homosexuals are born that way? Do you refuse to consider the evidence against this claim? Have you ever looked at the connection between child sexual abuse and later homosexual attraction?

11. Are you quick to say “Judge not, lest you be judged” ( Matthew 7:1) and similar passages, without understanding the Christian theology behind it, and all the while being very judgmental yourself?

16. Do you believe it’s okay for thirteen- year- olds to learn at school that they have the right to have homosexual sex with each other? Do you close your ears when concerned parents are outraged? Would you call such parents “ignorant” and accuse them of “censorship”?

17. Do you believe that, after several thousand years where most cultures have prohibited homosexuality, only now the ‘real’ truth is emerging? Do you believe this is not an arrogant, narrow or immature position?

18. Do you actually think anyone is going to read this and say 'gosh, that's me. Thank you life and liberty, for showi8ng me the error of my ways.'?

Question number 2 is quite telling. It essentially asks if you call others something in the fucking title of the article? Are you a bigot? Yes, if you call others a bigot.

4/11/2011 3:49:04 AM

As someone who strongly identifies as a pro-gay bigot, I was disappointed to only get 9/20 on that quiz.

I guess it must be based on some lunatic's ramblings and delusions rather than hard evidence...

Short version:

[...]Do you disagree with me? If yes, then STFU U DAMN BIGOT!!!!!!!

2: No. I just THINK they're retarded, but I'm well raised by my parents and taught to not laugh in their face, but pity them.

3: Yes, i do think that.

5: Yes (proven in the animal wordl), yes (proven in the animal world), Yes (proven in the animal world), Yes (See the Greeks), Yes (Never happened, don't see it happen soon) and Yes (It's always been a part of culture).

9: Yes (see Q 5), No (But there isn't any. Deliver and I'll take an honest look), Yes (Bogus. Proven by science. Abuse causes abuse. Not homosexual 'behavior'. Convicted felons aside, but they only can choose from a distinct population)

11: Yes (You should do the same. After all it's your dumb book. Not mine), No (I understand perfectly. You should read the damn book!), No (Shiny Mirror somewhere? Don't project)

16: Yes (Better at that time, than create a frustrated closetcase when he has the right to bear arms..), No (I try to teach them as well), No (See 11 Stop confirming yourself)

17: No (It's always been there, and always part of our culture. The Greeks practiced it as a good form of education, the Romans weren't bothered by it for the least and there's a recent study that, during the early bronze age people were recognized as homosexual or transgender as wel. Latest find is a MALE skeleton, buried as a FEMALE, with FEMALA parafernalia), NO (Like I said: Science proves homosexualitiy is of all times and all species)

>Do you participate in name-calling like BIGOT

I think irony is lost on those guys.

"3. Do you believe ‘gays’ have been deprived of the right to marry? Doesn’t pretty much everyone have the right to marry now -- to a person of the opposite sex? "

Once again: Denying gays the right to marry someone of the same sex is a violation of the equal protection clause of the Constitution. A woman has the right to marry a man, but I, as a man, based solely on my gender, do not have that same right. A woman has a right, based on her sex, that I do not have. Denying me the right to marry a man is discriminatory based on my sex.

2. If it gets heated, but not usually, no.
3. Yeah, and yeah, but I do believe that's a non-sequitur.

5. Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, No risk unless people have unprotected sex (this goes for heterosexuals also).

9. In some cases yes (I do think there are a small number who do choose to live this way, but this is a crime why?), and repeat after me: Correlation does not necessarily imply causation. Correlation does not necessarily imply causation. Not that you've proven correlation... Evidence please.

11. No, but I will call you out as a hypocrite and tell you to actually read your damn Bible (which I have read in full 3 times in a consecutive manner and probably cumulatively another 2 at least.

16. I believe that children at 13-14 should be taught about ALL of the options. No, although I'd encourage them to look at the facts. No, again, I'd encourage them to look at the facts.

17. Others have raised the fact there have been previous cultures that didn't prohibit it going farther back, but I do believe we've made progress since the dark ages, you smegging tool. No, it's not arrogant, nor is it narrow or immature, because the FACTS, as opposed to the misogynistic, bigoted, hypocritical, egotistical wad of toilet paper that is the Bible, lead me after consideration to come to this conclusion.

4/11/2011 4:51:45 AM

Yet again, the "everyone has the right to marry someone of the opposite sex" argument. This is true, but what real equal rights would mean is: "everyone has the right to marry the person that they love, and that loves them". How is this so difficult for these morons to understand?

4/11/2011 4:52:32 AM

The mental gymnastics that those on the religious right go through to convince themselves that they are on the side of reason and tolerance never ceases to amaze me. It's not surprising, of course -- their holy book tells them that they are good and that everyone else is in league with Satan. Jesus, the epitome of goodness within their paradigm, was just and tolerant ergo fundamentalist Christians MUST be the ones who are truly just and tolerant.

It's scary how these people can twist white into black. It's even more frightening how influential these people are in American society. These are the same people who believe that telling lies to the "unsaved" for the sake of converting their souls to Jesus is a far more charitable act than ensuring that the poor are fed and the needs of the elderly are seen to.

Fundamentalist Christians have a serious disconnect with reality and, quite frankly, I think it's dangerous.

2. Do you participate in name-calling of those who object to homosexuality -- names like bigot, hate-monger, etc.?

If by "object", you mean equating being gay with murder, rape, pedophilia, necrophilia, bestiality, adultery, incest, and Nazi Germany, then yes.

Mister Spak

Are you a complete moron?

1) Do you believe there is a giant man with a long white beard who lives on clouds?

2) Do you believe the world is flat so you can see the whole thing from a mountaintop?

3) Do you believe you can rape murder take drugs molest children and then go to heaven because the giant man with a long white beard who lives on clouds is your BFF?

4) Do you believe Muslims Hindus Catholics J.K. Rowling and witch doctors with a bone in their nose are all in cahoots in a conspiracy against True Christians?

5) Do you believe preventing you from imposing your religion on others violates your freedom of religion?

6) Are you completely unaware of how retarded #5 is?

4/11/2011 5:01:53 AM

Yup, you've caught me, I'm bigoted towards bigots and intolerant of intolerance and I'll admit it. I don't think any normal person minds that though. I'd also like to point out the irony of being called immature and arrogant in #17 and I'd also like to point out that racism and sexism has been around for thousands of years with women's rights and racial equality as rather recent phenomena. Was Martin Luther King Jr. immature and arrogant to say that he had a dream of people of all colors being equal?

2) Quiet contempt mostly, until they make asses of themselves. Then I tear them a new ass large enough to depict the level of metaphorical ass they represent. There isn't much left.

3) Uh, yes. You don't exactly do yourself any favours by highlighting the 'live a soul-crushing lie' marital option that's available to them mainly as a way to cover up their homosexuality and fit in with the rest of judgemental society.

5) Yes and no. Homosexuality will increase with the human population as a natural limiter to our growth, despite our efforts to thwart Mother Nature's good sense with our sheer crazy. 'Experimentation' as you call it may well be a trend, but actual attraction cannot be forced.

9) See above. Psychology can affect sexuality any number of ways. That doesn't make it mental sickness, fuckwit.

11) Do you apply that standard to yourself? No? Fail. That our view of homosexuals concerns you at all is evidence of that.

16) Birds... bees... how to avoid the clap... and then biology does the rest. A non-visual example doesn't even have to be gender-specific. Simple concept, isn't it? Despite grumblings of irrational panicking moralists Sex Ed doesn't really promote wild orgies or screwing for it's own sake. There's time devoted to 'think it through, dumbass' portions of the material. Giving kids a complex by defining sex on your terms isn't going to help them.

17) Earliest cultures embraced homosexuality, contrary to your claim. From Sumeria, the first known human civilization, to the collapse of the Roman empire more than two thousand years later. Some fundies like to claim that very embrace of gay sex specifically caused the collapse rather than their own rank stupidity and tendancy to piss everyone off. After becoming the 'Holy' Roman Empire the faith and prohibition of doing anything against the faith was spread violently almost erradicating any society that had yet to wonder what the big fucking deal was.

I'm in awe! All the way to the end I thought this was Conservapedia!!!
You truly do honour to their style!

4/11/2011 6:22:53 AM

Let me make it simple for you. Do I constantly have to fight my own prejudice to view those sucked into a mystical and superstitious death cult as severely retarded or totally mindfucked by unethical control freaks in funny costumes? Yes. None of this changes the fact that you are an anti-gay, bigoted organization with precious little upon which to base your discrimination and belief in your own moral rectitude. My recognition of those facts does not in turn make me a bigot. Your thinking that it does makes you, the author of this screed, a sophomoric idiot. Are we clear on this, or do I have to get out the hand puppets?

19. Have people you previously had carte blanche to persecute, suddenly have the legal right to be who they want to be, and you have been denied - by the law no less - said carte blanche. And you consider this in itself to be 'Persecution'?

What a bunch of smarmy, yet ironically stupid, shits you all are.

Pule Thamex

Homosexuality is only supposed to be used in certain circumstances. God has commanded that the Sacred Sodomy Rites be only observed by sex-starved or gay Christians serving time in prison.

The rites and rituals are slightly different with Roman Catholic God when compared with those of Puritan God in as much as they may only be performed by Roman Catholic priests with select members of the flock, whether in or out of jail. I think this is because Roman Catholic God likes to be more inclusive with regard to peoples' ages, whereas Puritan God knows that His congregation are more likely to spend a good part of their life in prison, and so tailors His Sodomy Rites towards prison life.

It's always helpful to get information on homosexuality as it is the main concern of many of the regional Gods, second only to keeping mum about the whereabouts of The Regional Holy Ghosts when on Earth, who, of course, are usually to be found thirstily lapping at the hind-quarters of goats.

4/11/2011 7:11:26 AM

Are they trying to reverse the bigotry so they can claim to be persecuted?
