Guess you've never studied the spread of the epidemic in Africa. Heterosexual males rape little girls and even babies, because they believe that having sex with a virgin will cure them.
When gays were finally allowed to be themselves and live openly in steady relationships, the spread of AIDS in the gay community diminished significantly.
As long as people believe it's a gay disease, young people won't protect themselves while having casual heterosexual sex.
AIDS is transmitted more efficiently by men than by women. This is just a fact of biology. Gay men, because they have sex with other men, are both efficient transmitters and efficient receivers. Heterosexual women, because they have sex with men, are efficient receivers; but because they're not efficient transmitters, their heterosexual male partners are less likely to have caught the disease. Heterosexual men are efficient transmitters if they have the disease, but because it's harder for them to catch the disease from women, they're less likely to have it in the first place. Finally, lesbians, because they don't have sex with men, are unlikely either to catch the disease or transmit it to others.
Therefore, based on simple statistics, we would expect the most likely people to have the disease are gay men, followed by straight women, followed by straight men, followed by gay women. And that's exactly what we see. It has nothing to do with morality or God's judgment.
If it were a judgment, don't you think your god would have better aim? I mean, look at Sodom and Gomorrah. He wanted to punish just those two specific cities, and he did. Look at Egypt. He wanted to kill only the firstborn sons of the Egyptians, and he did. It recieved that moniker because it was first noted in the gay community. The disese did not arise in the gay community nor was it limited to gays alone. I for one would have expected a little more preciscion from a being who was supposedly capable of targeting only the firstbore males of all of egypt rather than sending a fatal virus in such a manner that it would be able to spread to innocent children and devout christian through blood transfusions.

It started spreading in the gay community, yes. Mostly because they were not allowed out into the open, so they were confined to short encounters with strangers. If anything, it's a bigoted disease, especially as now "the overwhelming majority" transmitting it are heterosexuals in Africa, many of which refuse to use condoms, and where sex ed is very rare. Some even think that if you rape a virgin, you'll be cured, so lots of baby girls are killed by infected men.
