[Commenting on allegations that <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2005/10_october/06/bush.shtml " target="_blank">Bush believes God willed him to invade Afghanistan and Iraq</a>]
I can hear it now...
What kind of GOD would tell you to kill millions of innocent people...
How can a GOD of love, tell you to go to war...
Sounds to me that it's an attack on GOD and all who believe in him, not just Bush

She's remarkably perceptive for a fundie.
I'm more worried that Bush thinks God is telling him to do these things, but yes, I think we'd have reason to be skeptical of any claims that a loving God would tell you to kill 'em all and let Him sort them out.
I don't know how many times I saw this concept from the Right-Wingers. "W Bush is a good Christian, ANY complaints about W is a direct unAmerican attack on God!"
Too many, as it's insane on the face of it to elevate a politician to the level you claim you keep only for your God: Blind unquestioning fanatical belief.
They do this for their religious leaders too, and forgive any proof of incompetance and dishonesty from Bush, Palin, Perry, Romney, Hell, the entire GOP leaders or their FoxIdols.
I believe everyone of age is entitled to vote but,,,if we could find a way to convince these fundies that voting is inherently evil and ungodly,,,,America would shake off this tendancy to continually voting in idiots based only on how much they name-drop Jesus.
@ rw23
... three of the recent Republican candidates seeking nomination to stand for president claimed that God told them to run.
Three republicans. It's a holy trinity! Praise Jeebus.
I remember when the photos of Bush were showing him with a halo, anytime there was a light or some sort of round thing they positioned so his head was in front of it.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
