Perfect place to live? ***NO RACISM INTENDED***?
Ok, guys be serious here
I wanna live somewhere where its my race only (white) I'm pretty much PURE white and well...I'm not very uncomfortable with foreign races (Mexicans, Blacks)
I currently live in California and there's SO many Mexicans here...I just wanna live somewhere where its overpopulated with whites instead of other skin colors somewhere in the US...It's nothing racist, I'm just not that comfortable with...well...different colored people ._.
So basically...where is a place that I can live at *IN THE USA* where there are MOSTLY whites
And guys, if you find this offensive...then don't comment : /

California? The California that used to be part of Mexico? That California? You say there are Mexicans in it? You surprise me.
Hey, YT. There are a whole bunch of black folk in Boise. You have no hiding place. Tough shit.
You might look all white - but I expect there is a member of a darker skinned race lurking somewhere back in your genetic woodpile, as there is for most white folks...
Have you any idea how many descendents of Pocahontas there are in the UK? They look all white too!
I can't think of any, dude. Sorry. Well no, I'm not really sorry, because you are a petty racist asshole.
"Want a place that is mostly Whites? Sorry, not going to find it in the U.S.
Try Greenland."
sorry, Greenland is almost entirely Eskimo/Inuit or whatever the correct terminology is. Very few Danes actually live there. The Viking settlers were all wiped out in the little ice age.
"***NO RACISM INTENDED***"
Writing this above an obscenely racist post doesn't make it not racist, you twit.
"Want a place that is mostly Whites? Sorry, not going to find it in the U.S. "
Bullshit.
The "try Greenland" comments are hilarious, yeah, but pretty much any rural area in the North or (especially) Northwest United States is going to be pure lily white. That's one of the nasty little secrets about race relations in the United States. After the Civil War, the people of the North did not want newly free blacks living among them, and they were very effective in 'encouraging' black migrants to go back to the South. Google "sundown towns".
In my state, the urban centers have fairly large minority populations. But look at the demographics of any town outside those centers: it's going to be 99% white, and the remaining 1% will be Native American.
One of the easiest ways to tell a racist is when they say "Now I'm not racist, but..." or "No racism intended!"
And next time you want to talk about "foreign races," you'd better include yourself because your ancestors invaded the already-inhabited North America not so long ago.
Just for the sake of playing devil's advocate...
I am reminded of how some people have irrational phobias of commonplace objects, and how an unpleasant childhood experience can make someone biased or fearful for the rest of their lives...
Well, what if this person really doesn't hate or have ill-will against other races, but has an uncontrollable phobia? It's racist, in a sense, but the person wouldn't be trying to hurt anyone... So would it be fair to judge them so harshly?
"And guys, if you find this offensive...then don't comment"
I doubt anyone had time to comment before Y!A pulled this question down for being racist.
There's a difference between racism and xenophobia.
This guy is not comfortable around foreigners. What he wants to do about it is change his own way of life, he doesn't try to force the foreigners to yield to his convenience, nor does he make up reasons to rationalise his sentiment.
I don't think moving accross the country to avoid triggering an irrational fear is a good way to deal with it, but it's different from trying to force it on others.
Justin could come and live in VT. It's pretty much populated by people who have European ancestry......unless you go to Burlington, they have a great program that resettles refugees from war-torn countries.
It also comes in handy to know some French.
Oh yeah, and their is marriage equality.
Sooo on second thought, maybe VT is not for you.
hey, mad the swine, why dont you check out Lewiston, Maine sometime. Its the farthest youre gonna get from "lily-white"
Japan would work for you, they mostly have white skin!
And telling people who wouldn't rip you to shreds and spit out the pips on Yahoo answers is bound to fail, but failing comes naturally to some...
@mad the swine: Minnesota (my hometown) has the highest concentration of Hmong immigrants in the country. And a surprisingly large percentage of Mexicans.
You don't find as many in the rural areas, thus my surprise the first time I took the light rail in Minneapolis and encountered large numbers of black people, but the racial mix is a rich one.
The days when the North/Northwest were lily-white enclaves died about twenty years ago.
Sorry, but even in the whitest places I can think of (North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, etc) there are still Native Americans who are descendants of people who lived there before the white man arrived.
Oh and "No racism intended" just doesn't work when the rest of your post indicates you dislike people who are a different color than you.
I'm sorry to make a liar of you, but being racist is racist. You are quite literally saying "I'm not being racist, but I'm racist."
Really, doesn't work.
More importantly, you don't really want that.
I've been there, this place you speak of, and you want nothing to do with it. It completely sucked. Everyone was either old or a jerk. And the food was terrible.
Pure white? There's a good chance you're not. Around 30% of white Americans have some black ancestry and almost half have some Native American ancestry. Those two populations aren't the same people (meaning some with Native ancestry have no black ancestry and vice versa), that adds up to possibly over 50% of white Americans being mixed to some degree.
If you want to move to somewhere purely white move to Frog Balls, Arkansas or something. The majority of the US's 100 wealthiest counties are 5-30% black. Most of them being at least 10% black, a few largely black. You're probably broke anyway.
***NO RACISM INTENDED***
Red flags right there.
You could try the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, WA state or BC, Canada). The population there demographically remains largely Caucasian. That's the good news (from your perspective).
The bad news (for you)is that they also tend to be tolerant, friendly, accepting and live-and-let-live sort of people.
Then again, that might actually be good news for you. They might even somehow tolerate you.
Confused?
