The "We're Not Racist!" Award
Because we'd rather you actually were racist, rather than simply being this stupid.
Even if Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama had been birthed in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House he is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

What is he then, a clone, given the above poster's insistence that he is "not a natural born citizen..." ?
Or is this merely another thinly disguised racist rant from a Freeper who refuses to believe that the people of the U.S would elect a non white President into office...
As a side note, however, I will point out that this is not necessarily as racist as it might seem at first glance.
The whole "President Obama is not a natural born citizen" thing is based less on the color of his skin (these folks love Thomas Sowell and Alan Keyes, after all) and more on pure ugly partisan politics. Both sides look to grasp upon any point they can to question the legitimacy of an opposing president -- the left did it with President Bush as well.
Not everyone on the far right bought into the birth certificate argument. The more predominant theory among those folks is that President Obama is not a natural born citizen because his father was from Kenya and, as such, was a subject of the British Crown. The argument continues that British law states that the child of a British subject is automatically a British subject regardless of where he or she is born.
The problem is that the term "Natural Born Citizen" has never been defined in a legal sense. Now, do I personally believe that this is grasping for straws? Absolutely -- the man was born on American soil to at least one American citizen and, on American soil, we are not bound to British laws. We kind of fought a war over that very matter a little over 225 years ago and won. It's not cut and dry, however, and the legal terms involved are quite vague.
I do, however, believe that sentiment expressed by people such as the OP are born as a result of the constant rationalization process that occurs as a result of seeing politics as a zero-sum game rather than out of any actual racism.
Ah, capturing the true spirit, hatred and all, of the birther movement and the Tea Party. What the hell then would make him a *natural born citizen*? Is it his name? The car he drives? How he pronounces "nuclear"? Is it because he has an abundance of melanin?
(these folks love Thomas Sowell and Alan Keyes, after all)
because they agree with us, and if we all think the same stuff, we CAN'T be racist.
@Pedantic Speaker
Well, we did burn it down somewhere around 1812 or so but I see you rebuilt it now.
Very nice.
As for ASA Vet, he's like all the other racist retards like him:
"There's a darkie in the White House and he ain't cleanin' the toilet!"
@CohibaMan:
What the left did to President Bush was largely about incompetence and criminality. For instance, "emhanced interrogation", essentially a euphemism for torture, was evidence of incompetence, because torture does not produce useful intelligence, and criminality, because torture is one of the most heinous crimes in existence and is covered by the legal doctrine hostis humani generis (the torturer, like the pirate or the slaver, is legally the enemy of humankind).
FAIL
Hopefully this should help explain things, ASA Vet.

Why do you think there is a debate in congress about modifying laws so "anchor babies"(babies born to parents from another country, usually from an impoverished background) won't be granted U.S. citizenship upon birth?
Not racist.*
This does not belong here as the quote is taken out of context. The Original Post includes this suffix: (Natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. De Vattel)
So who the hell's De Vattel? Turns out he was a writer who influenced Washington and Franklin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerich_de_Vattel
It's possible therefore that his definition is that which was actually intended in the Constitution.
Taking stuff out of context is a fail on our behalf.
An argument, no matter how astonishing or how much we might disagree with it, is not a 'darnedest thing', if it is supported by evidence and is logically consistant with its premises.
* I don't know the poster, he may be as racist as Apartheid or as pure as the driven snow. I don't know. Neither do you.
His argument isn't racist. It's based on principle, regardless of whether the motive for the argument is racism, political partisanship or abstract theorising.
Certainly the poster is rabidly anti-Obama. Not necessarily anti his race.
@John-in-Oz: But Obama's mother WAS a citizen and he WAS born in the U.S. As actual U.S. law has it, anyone born in the country is a citizen and anyone born outside the country TO a citizen is a citizen. This guy can yell until he's blue in the face about Obama not fitting some other definition of natural born citizen, but it doesn't do dick about the fact that by the legal definition he is a citizen and was eligible to run for president. This is a typical "when the facts don't fit your theory, don't change your theory, find different facts" M.O. It might not be ONLY about race, but it's certainly within the realms of absurd redefinition, even WITH the context.
What LadyJafaria said.
Birthers are fucking racist, crazy, stupid, etc. That whole Barry Soetoro thing is part of the conspiracy that he was born in Indonesia or received foreign aid as a student from Indonesia or some other bullshit.
Also, this quote was NOT taken out of context. The part you're referring to is not part of the quote, but part of that FReeper's signature. It appears in every post he makes, regardless of the topic. Therefore, his quote was taken in its entirety.
Confused?
