Re. my previous post, as it's very convenient RisingTwat here says he's 'never been a follower of Superman comics', and my thinking that it's somewhat hypocritical on his part (certainly when 'alternative scenario' comics such as "Superman: Red Son" and John Cleese's "Superman: True Brit" exist), mayhaps it's a good thing he hasn't done so.
The above panel from a "Superman" comic would not only make his head explode faster than Supes can travel faster-than-light, his whole self would go nova at the thought of not only Superman being anti-American, but anti-Christian.
