Really irks me that the gays stole the rainbow. Why this crap is even in the school baffles me. If you don't want to be bullied then don't swish around school. There is no need to bring your sexual lifestyle into the school. Seems simple enough to me. School should teach & not be involved with this gay bs. You want to be gay then take the crap that goes with it. I am so sick of gay’s whining.

Your problem here is that you assume that there are situations that warrant bullying.

Bullying doesn't work that way. It doesn't happen because people deserve or attract it. It happens because people decide to do it. And they shouldn't, regardless of the excuse they bring to bear in any particular case.

It does kind of suck about the rainbows, though. Mneh. Can't wear little fishies or they'll think I'm trying to announce I'm a Christian, can't wear rainbows or they'll think I'm trying to announce that I'm gay...

I don't really mind people thinking I'm gay, but I don't like them thinking I'm trying to telegraph it. That seems so tasteless and tawdry.

Being short
Being tall
Being fat
Wearing glasses
Having red hair
Not being white
Being disabled
Being German
Wearing a hat

Or you could attend a school that views all bullying as unacceptable, and where 'he looks a bit girly' isn't an excuse to beat someone up.

As others have said, you don't even have to be gay to be bullied. Kids will look for any excuse to pick on others. You would be fuming if your Christian kids were bullied and someone suggested that they stop carrying a Bible.

First of all, gay people didn't steal the rainbow--you can't steal a symbol, you can only use it. Rainbows can still symbolize whatever you want them to mean for you.

The LGBT community simply uses the rainbow to symbolize a society in which ALL sexual orientations and gender expressions--including all the cisgendered straight folks out there--are treated equally, with the dignity and respect due to all human beings. A society in which diversity is prized, not shunned, in which a million flowers bloom instead of some being poisoned and called "weeds."

If I wanted to make out with a girl at school there usually ain't much problem with that (unless it's SCANDALOUS) and that's the way it should be.

Then who should teach them? Schools are for ALL kids! Do you propose special schools for gay pupils? If there were, I bet you'd find out exactly where, so you could tell your kids not to go anywhere near, which they of course then would and do their best to bully the pupils there. As someone who was bullied in school for the stupidest reasons I really hope you get run over by a car only to survive and be in excruciating pain for the rest of your miserable life. There is NO FUCKING REASON for kids to be bullied in school, NOT FUCKING ONE! I don't care if the kid "swishes around school" or even fucking wears a dress. Nobody has a right to bully anyone, you goddamned motherfucking shit stain!

1. Don't ride a girl's bike if you're a boy.
2. Don't be smarter than average.
3. Don't use big words.
4. Don't have a blase attitude toward school sports.
5. Don't forget to treat the jocks like little tin gods.
6. Don't dress differently.
7. Don't go to school in a wealthy community if you're poor.
8. Don't wear gang colors (you must be asking for it).
9. Don't evangelize (throwing a bone here).
10. etc.
