Until about 100 years ago, your ancestors were doing the same fucking thing. In some places it's still not terribly uncommon to marry a second cousin.

Explain the Islamic Golden Age--which they had while your ancestors were living in squalor, illiterate and starving to death over in Europe in between petty little wars that decimated what population they had available to begin with--along with all of the medical, mathematical, engineering, philosophical and artistic advances they made during the last 1,400 years.

While marrying a first cousin isn't the best idea one could have, it has never been particularly uncommon anywhere. Whether or not Islamic cultures still practice this, I can't say and don't particularly care if they do.
What you're arguing is, bluntly, bullshit unless every single Muslim marries only their first cousin and there are no marriages outside of this.
