I've been thinking all day about how much I'd like to generate that.
With some changes to the list.
We'd have the Old School Gentlemen:
Charles Darwin, can mutate and evolve new parts on a whim, essentially transfigure himself, but cannot evolve eyes. Doesn't have full control over the mutations, but manages. Obsessed with eating his enemies after they've been killed, along with everyone/everything else dead he see's.
Voltaire, has mental kinesis over Endothermic Energy, most notable being electricity. Most notably is that he can loosely control electrical nerve impulses, just well enough to muddle and confuse his enemies.
Freud, Kinky Telepath and Mind Reader, he uses those abilities to gain incredible persuasive powers. Also uses sexually suggestive weaponry; primarily his Rapier he uses to Penetrate his enemies.
Marx, is Aquaman(Both in power and uselessness.) He controls fish, and has them work as a commutative whole for the support of the fight. He can get them all to work in perfect union, for the best, but he doesn't know how to command them properly to get good results. Make him useless with all but a single Ocean based event, and then later grant him control over all animals. Later, give him abilities over Dumb people(Essentially zombie armies), and retcon his power over animals(Justified by that zombies do the job better all the time, so he doesn't use it. Maybe make an excuse when he actually has a use that only controlling humans has made him lose touch of that aspect of his powers.)
