[Regarding border-crossing immigrants that die trying to get into the country]
I look at it this way, that's just how many fewer that we have to educate, medicate, incarcerate and accommodate. Plus whatever progeny they have.
Too bad it's not THOUSANDS. The numbers should be so high that it discourages the crossers.

Arn't these the people who belive that freedom is the best thing about america (Except Freedom of religion, education, etc... but those arn't important), and yet they condemn people who seek this "freedom" which is so precious?

If the US really wants to stop illegal immigrants, maybe they should cut it out with the flag waving for a while. Do what the australians did - send negative propaganda out to places that refugees come from telling them about the poisonous snakes and spiders and sharks and crocodiles. Nature's landmines.
