[Re. "ObamaCare"]
Behold the next Holocaust brought to you by Obama, Pelsoi, Reid and the DemoRAT party. Their camps will be hospices where you will be remanded to for your “end of life” care courtesy of Big Bro and Big Sis.
Welcome to 1930’s Germany. Obama “shovel ready” jobs will be those that come for you via their Gestapo or union goons to haul you off. Think not? Think Again! Always remember, the political class will ensure that they get the best health care available via We The People’s tax dollars. You, on the other hand, are expendable for the good of the state.

Our weakass compromised healthcare reform package does nothing more than permanently edify the massive private insurance industry as the big daddy of healthcare delivery in the USA. You'd think the Freeptards would be ecstatic because their ideal (shitty, inefficient, corrupt) system is now the law of the land. But no, we're treated to heavy-handed, half-understood Nazi allusions because, as we all know, the rest of the first world has fallen to fascism with their reliable, cheap, effective healthcare systems.
Shit I wish there had been a "government takeover of healthcare". At least our federal government is accountable to the citizens and we can vote people who are doing a shitty job out. What about the CEO of United Healthcare?
You idiots are the reason we're getting our asses kicked and the USA is a mere husk of its potential. You're against a robust educational system, against people who work tough, dangerous jobs being able to get the pay and benefits they deserve, against a healthcare system that works, against anything resembling progress. That has nothing to do with your malformed notions of "communism".
Behold, the shiny mirror. Look upon its beauty, but beware, for gazing directly at it can cause permanent blindness from its sheer luster!
Before you freepers use images if Nazis to demean people you disagree with, you might want to remind yourselves that there are many on your site who wouldn't mind having a Nazi America. With themselves in charge, of course.
I find it distressing that Obama's administration hasn't dismantled the panopticon that the Bush admin spent eight years expanding. But the tools were given to them by the previous administration. And assuming any of the current crop of unelectables with an (R) beside their name manage to make it to the oval office, I'm sure it will be expanded even further. With that said, the democrats are still marginailly less toxic than the republicans, and in the conservatives' ongoing effort to privatize every last former function of government, the republicans have managed to turn health care reform into a feeding frenzy for the insurance companies.
Or, to put it in a way ExTexasRedhead will understand--the death panels won't be run by the government, but by the insurance companies themselves. Much like they've done for the last forty years, deciding who is eligible for what level of care will be a wholly privatized affair....just the way the corporations wanted it in the first place. And when it's time for someone s/he cares about to get shafted, s/he will still blame the slightly-less conservative democrats for his/her woes--which, again, will be just the way the companies want it, as long as the fingers aren't being pointed at them, or the politicians that they decide to buy.
Your corporate overlords will take you to an early grave.
And still, with your dying breath, you will curse imaginary dirty commies for taking away your healthcare to give it to someone else.
Free, tax backed healthcare going to people who need it works.
Healthcare going to the one who pays most does not work, and costs a lot more. Which is why Western Europe pays 8.5% of GDP on healthcare, compared to 16.5% in the USA, and has a life expectancy at birth some 2 years longer.
How stupid can you possibly be? The GOP (that "political class" with the great taxpayer-funded healthcare to which you refer) has just voted to END MEDICARE AND MEDICAID in order to give a ten percent tax-cut to the wealthy. They want to hand seniors and the disabled a paltry $6000 per year to buy healthcare on a private market that wouldn't cover them for two months for that price, and would take a 30%-40% profit from their premiums even if it did cover them, as opposed to the 3% overhead of Medicare. And when Medicaid goes away, with it goes the funding that covers nearly every person who lives in a nursing home. THAT'S your "death panel", genius.
Flawed as it is, thanks to the sociopaths in the GOP and the Blue Dog Caucus, at least the health care bill takes not one cent of coverage away from Medicare recipients. Everyone else is either stuck with the same overpriced private plans they already have or is forced to buy into the private market. The Republicans have even admitted that the budget plan that eliminates Medicare is revenue neutral, and would do nothing to reduce the deficit for 40 years (presumably by killing off huge portions of the pesky elderly middle class). They are laughing at YOU, all the way to the bank.
What were you saying about feeling like you were expendable?
@#1293765: But...but...they told me that tax cuts ALWAYS bring in more revenue. Because a miracle happens when you stop bringing in money--the money comes flooding in on its own to fill the vaccuum you've created! And because rich people create all the jobs, so the more money we give them the more jobs they can make! And somehow it's vitally important we cut taxes now because birth certificate jobs Kenyan obummer terror babies.

I suppose next you'll be telling us that Santa Claus isn't real and the Memorial Day Gremlins don't really leave those delicious steaks in my refrigerator.
There is so much misinformation in so little space.
1. The end of life counseling you're referring to was cut out of the health care bill because of Palin calling them 'death panels'.
2. End of life counseling = your doctor tells you that you might die and gives you a list of options concerning how to deal with it. Including keep me on life support forever to 'stop treatment'.
3. Doctors already do this, all that would have changed is that medicare would pay the doctor for giving you that consultation.
So this post is basically crying about death panels that were never death panels that were taken out of the healthcare bill anyways and then comparing a small rule change to Genocide
Democratically elected charismatic leader? Check. Economic stimulus? Check. Broad changes to governmental structure? Check. Going to war with countries that can't fight back? Check. Authoritarian dictatorship exemplified by mass murder, racist policy, a secret police, few if any rights, zero tolerated dissent, bans on Atheism, Judaism, homosexuality, etc., militaristic industry, rampant grandiose propaganda through the state-controlled media, and the immortal Charlie Chaplin fasci-stache? Uncheck. Although the grandiose propaganda is debatable.
America=/=Nazi Germany. There is a reason Godwin's law is counted as a logical fallacy.
Confused?
