2 billion deaths as a result of false beliefs in the history of the world before Jesus

2 and 1/2 million in 2000 years. on comparison to the rest of our recorded history.

Does that sound like a failure or ONE HELL OF A SUCCESS.

And he still promises more to come.

Most people like to take a view that supports their own interpretation without looking at the big picture.

Look at the big picture. Look at the world without Jesus and the number of Dead bodies. Then Look at the world with Jesus and count again. Belief in Jesus has been the biggest deterrent to religious killings in world history.

Did you find those statistics tattooed on the inside of your ass?

Are they taking all of the time up to Jebus and then the small amount of time after that and going look after has a smaller death count....really. Then at the same time getting the numbers all wrong. A quick Google shows WW2 estimated dead at 50 to 60 million, well over two and a half million.

Why are you so stupid you are on the internet use it to fact check it isn't hard.

World War II and the Thirty Years war would like a word with you.

Except the bloodiest wars happened after Jesus.

The Crusades.
Next topic.

Others have already named the Holocaust, the Thirty Years War, the Crusades.

The list goes on and on: the "Conquest" of the Americas by loving Christians, the Inquisition(s), the purges in England after Hernry VIII, slaughters in Africa and India by Christians, etc., etc.

How did they ever get that 2 billion number for the BC era? As far as I know, mainly religious persecution/war/conflict is a rather modern invention, i.e. post-AD.

The 2 billion number is fantasy and fits much better in the post-AD era.

Fewer people have died in the time after I was born than in the time before I was born, therefore I am God.

Doubting Thomas

So, 2 1/2 million dead people in the bible is OK as long as it was done for Jesus?

Belief in Jesus has been the biggest deterrent to religious killings in world history.

Tell that to the victims of Timothy McVeigh, Scott Roeder, and Eric Rudolph.

Your source for this is what?

"Does that sound like a failure or ONE HELL OF A SUCCESS."

It sounds made up and irrelevant.

"And he still promises more to come."

So?

"Most people like to take a view that supports their own interpretation without looking at the big picture."

I prefer to look at evidence, of which you've provided none.

"Look at the big picture. Look at the world without Jesus and the number of Dead bodies. Then Look at the world with Jesus and count again. Belief in Jesus has been the biggest deterrent to religious killings in world history."

Post hoc, ergo propter hoc.

Nice try though.

Two and a half million in 2000 years? The Siege of Stalingrad alone consumed nearly two million lives.

What is wrong with you?

5/28/2011 6:43:41 AM

Rapax Pringer

Dood, EVERYONE dies at some point, regardless of belief.

Also, 2 million in 2000 years? Uh, Holocaust. Just sayin'.

And you should be ashamed of sharing the last name of one of my favorite (albeit overrated) cartoonists.

Where the fuck do you get those numbers from? In the past 2,000 years only 2.5 million people have died? Are you stupid or high?

5/28/2011 7:26:50 AM

Most people like to take a view that supports their own interpretation without looking at the big picture.

Do you people even think about what you write before you post it? Where the hell did you get your figures? Fuck but you people are dumb.

2 billion deaths as a result of false beliefs?

So, what, they declare their devotion to Horus and they just randomly drop dead?

I think you'll find that if your bible is anything to go on, most of those pre-Jesus murders were performed at God's command, if not directly by him.

Wow...worst statistic quote EVER.

You might want to re phrase that moron. Even the bible says the world existed before Jesus

As for the linkl between Jesus and less killing....stupidity comes to mind

Pulling numbers out of your ass?
By the way, world population was only 800 million as late as 1700, and probably only a few hundred million before Christ. In 200 AD, the population of the Roman Empire peaked at about 90 million, and Chinese Empire censuses record about 100-160 million in the early modern era.
