You have to begin the process at a frighteningly early age of breaking down their self-esteem completely so they can build it up again with religion at the center of it. You also have to ensure that their critical thinking skills are completely shot, because otherwise they might realize that Christianity is bullshit.

1) Most of the things Freud said were NOT supported by evidence. Psychoanalysm is still one of the most hotly debated schools of psych...and it is much, much less insane then what Freud originally proposed.
