Why would there be more solar wind now than there was then? Unless, of course, you buy that whole ridiculous 'vapor canopy' theory, but that has more holes than a piece of swiss cheese that's been infested with worms.

Aren't there Methusala trees alive today that would be older than the Methusala of the Bible?

So, before the \"flood\" there was no solar radiation? So, there was no light or heat for energy for things to grow/live? The preflood world sounds like a cold and lonely place.

Personally, I think they just measured in months and forgot what they meant after a while, translating them to years when they encountered a solar-based year society (say, the Egyptians). Just means a lot of them got married around age 9 years...and other Semitic peoples kept the Lunar calendar.

Wow so if we completely shield ourselves underground from this sinful radiation we can live to be a thousand years too! No wait, sorry. Unfortunately that's complete bs and you will have to try and find some other lame explaination for your mythology. However, maybe while you're at it you can try explaining Greek mythology too...Drat, no Star Trek taught us already that the gods were a space race that left Earth when Humans stopped believing in them. *snaps fingers*
