Bishop, get the fuck out of my Catholicism. I though our religion was supposed to combine faith with works. If you would rather freak out about gays (who tend to be absolutely fucking harmless) or anal (which can be done fairly cleanly with the proper tools) than do something about the truly shitty things that go on in this world, you don't deserve to be a Christian, much less a Catholic.
Good men and women understand the separation between church and state; if you'd like to hold yourself to religious standards beyond the laws of man, then go to it -- who would I be to break the First Amendment to stop you?
The legality of an act does not have anything to do with its morality, bastard. I would also like to inform you that Christ, judging from the folks he hung out with while alive, probably wouldn't give a fuck. He hung out with hookers, tax collectors, lepers, blue-collar fisherman, and Gentiles like the Samaritans; I doubt he cares about whether Adam and Steve down the street are fucking. I think he really only cares that they love each other. Love God, love thy neighbour, you know, all shit Jesus actually talked about?

Because you fucking dilbert, someone once sought to make these things ILLEGAL and, you know, this being a more modern age most people think that it is time that some of those laws are repealed. And while we are about it you glagnut why the fuck do you seek to lump people who abuse animals in the same group as two people having sex who happen to be the same sex. Technically, neither pedophilia nor necrophilia are illegal, since those words describe the attraction to people who have not started puberty and dead people respectively, not the actual act of acting on the attraction, at least if we are going by the clinical definitions. Acting on them (with someone under the age of consent in the case of pedophilia. I'm not sure if a 16 year old [age of consent in more than half the states in the US ] who happens to have not started puberty for some reason [I don't even know if that's possible without some other factor that would make them legally unable to consent ] would be considered "fair game" or not) on the other hand is illegal, which is what I think you were going for.
