Mars does have an atmosphere, just not a very thick one and with little oxygen. And I've never seen these pics of a blue sky on Mars. "Total Recall" was not a documentary.
The reason there was no sound or fireball when the LEM took off from the moon is because there's no atmosphere on the moon. You won't see a huge fireball & smoke from a rocket engine when there's no atmosphere.

You know, I'm a little skeptical of some of the stuff we've done in space as well. The Bible says that man is confined to Earth as part of our punishment for sin (we used to be able to freely traverse the universe before the fall of Adam). I'm pretty sure God would not allow us to spread sin throughout the universe by going into space.

Wouldn't man's ability to FLY, much less to OUTER SPACE be just yet another thing that proves the bible is wrong then? I remember the Blue Sky on Mars photo, it was a mistake by a tech on Earth, he upped the blue on the photo and made the sky look blue the reasons being he felt there was something wrong with the photo. (At least as I remember it) Once people pointed out the blue sky they rechecked the info they had received from the robot and made the photo look as it should i.e. a red sky.

Funny, I was always told that Mars does have atmosphere and the closest to Earth´s in the solar system(less oxygen, though), but, what the Hell!!, you always learn something new.
His4Life well since the photo came in the form of data it wasn't really that hard. One of the techs simply increased the amount of blue the photo had...like what any person can do with a simple photo editing program. If it is news to you that people can use computers to edit data that other computers have sent then maybe you should stay of the internet.

What's the purpose?
Where does all that money go? What are all the employees really doing? What's the purpose and status of the scientific journals and aritcles published by them year after year?
Are they covering something up? If so, is it really practical to essentially make up an entire branch of science as an excuse to cover up... something? What ARE they covering up, anyway?
