If I am shopping and the Clerk is LGBST. I find the manager and tell them “ Sorry but due to the fact you hire LGBST, I will no longer shop here.

It will just take a few people to stand up against the LGBST and say we will not spend our money to support thier life style and the stores will get the message.

Mrs. Antichrist

Or, more likely, the staff will make fun of you after you leave, and you'll slowly run out of places to shop.

Of course, you're probably full of shit when you say you've actually done this. People like you tend to be pussies in real life, despite your internet tough guy persona online.

The irony is that it is the same law that forbids us from not hiring him due to his noxious fundie beliefs as it protects those same workers he doesn't like. However, we are all still able to point at him and laugh because he is such a douche.

8/20/2011 8:41:42 PM

Oh so true! That made me laugh so much.

8/20/2011 8:47:55 PM

Yeah, the message that you are a discriminating bastard, who they don't want as customer anyway.
You can't see on a person saying "You want fries with that?" what kind of sexuality he or she has.
What do you do if the Manager isn't straight? Gay people own companies, ya know.

You ought to worry about your poor grammar skills instead of what other people do in the privacy of their own bedroom, stupid.

What does the S stand for? Straight? Is Mr McClure against all forms of sexuality?

@ checkmate

Guess what good looking young women have had to put up with for ages?"

You don't even have to be good looking, you only need a pair of breasts.

Next time I'm served by a clerk wearing a cross or crucifix I'm going to take a stand and tell their manager I'll not spend my money supporting their Xtian lifestyle.

Oh, wait, no I won't.

Because I'm not a bigoted arsehole.

8/21/2011 1:29:56 AM

I'm sure that's followed by the manager thanking you because he doesn't want homophobic morons frequenting his shop anyway.

8/21/2011 2:12:27 AM

From the same guy who would shout like a banshee if the service is bad because the heterosexual clerk that replaces the competent homosexual one is a total incompetent.

8/21/2011 3:25:36 AM

I'd imagine the "S" stands for "sexual", as in "bisexual." They wouldn't put an "S" after "T" because these idiots tend to think that the "T" stands for "transvestite."

@Ausador -- Yeah? And what did the manager say when you asked to speak to him/her?

... you did ask to speak to the manager, right? I mean, that DOES tend to be the appropriate reaction to inappropriate behavior by individual employees, rather than, "These two guys were jerks and therefore I wish an entire sexual orientation would go back to hiding who they are!"

8/21/2011 5:05:56 AM

I'm confused. How exactly is troy going to tekk who is and isn't LGBT? Gaydar? I thought only gay people have that...

As for people asking what the S stands for, I'm assuming it's from "biSexual"

8/21/2011 5:46:51 AM

Hey troy, don't dislocate your arm patting yourself on the back for being a bigoted asshole, ok?

8/21/2011 6:19:39 AM

I think he was trying to say: Lettuce, bacon, gruyere, Swiss, tomato...

8/21/2011 6:48:30 AM

@those who wonder if he did it or not
This guy most probably has shopped in places where the clerk is gay, whether he realises it or not(and he most probably realised it more than once). This is, in my view, an internet tough guy piece of what he would do if he had the power and not just being a piece of white trash who hides in the anonymity of the net to vent off his frustration. And, ironically enough, a way to look like an arrogant piece of shit, that thinks of himself SOOO important that he thinks that his opinion may have an impact on the sales of a business or, far worse, that there are enough people out there to make the store "get the message". If he had a real power, he would have done that(if he hadn´t already, with a patent failure result)and he wouldn´t mention it at all.

8/21/2011 6:53:20 AM

As some other people have already said: how can you tell? How do you know the clerk's gay?

For example, I know some *very* masculine women who aren't gay.

8/21/2011 7:16:18 AM

Look at this again, I have to ask... Besides the transsexuals, how will Troy figure out whether they're gay or bi? Will he monitor the stores' staff to determine who they'll go home to and kiss? What if it's a woman going home to her sister? What if the man is European and is kissing his friend hello? What if the gay clerk is on vacation that week and he winds up inadvertently supporting a sinful lifestyle because he didn't do enough research?

Or does he figure that, because they're filthy sexual deviants, they'll drop trou in the middle of the store and start going at it like rabbits with random people they picked up on their gaydar?

8/21/2011 7:34:10 AM

And exactly how do you know you know about some stranger's private life?

8/21/2011 7:48:48 AM

Vermicious Knid

Well Troy, as others have said here, it's not often possible to tell who is gay just by looking at them, so your only option is to not shop anywhere at all in order to avoid the possibility of doing business with a LGBT person. In fact, just to be safe you should avoid ever having to interact with a LGBT person by sealing yourself in a bunker that locks from the outside. Don't worry, we'll let you know when it's safe to come out (no pun intended). Unless we forget about you, in which case you're fucked.

8/21/2011 8:32:32 AM

I hope the manager told you to take your bigoted ass off his property. You're the worse kind of asshole.
Who the fuck need your trailer park white trash business anyway.

8/21/2011 8:35:44 AM

Okay, so what makes Troy think that his consumer goods weren't manufactured in a factory that is LGBT-friendly? What if the driver who delivered the goods was gay? How about the farmer who grew the oats for his Cheerios? Was she straight? Was someone on the production line that made the packaging a lesbian? What about the construction workers who built the store? Might one of them have left gay-cooties on the bricks? One cannot be too careful...

8/21/2011 8:42:08 AM

I would respond "And I am glad you aren't a customer here."

8/21/2011 8:45:45 AM

If I heard another customer tell the store manager that he was going to boycott the store because it was gay-friendly, I would make it a point to shop there from then on. I would also recommend the store to all my friends.

8/21/2011 12:00:55 PM

If I am shopping and the Clerk is LGBST.

How do you even know? I'm sure in your ideal world all LGBT people would have to wear someting signifying their orientation so those like yourself could properly oppress them, but we don't live in that world, so how do you know who is LGBT and who isn't?

I find the manager and tell them “ Sorry but due to the fact you hire LGBST, I will no longer shop here

Seeing as how you have no way to know for sure if a clerk is gay or straight do you just go all out and boycott stores where you think someone might be gay? What do you do if the manager is gay? What about resturants? Do you walk into a resturant and demand to see the chef/line cook/server/busboy etc. to ensure that no gay people cook or handle your food? Do you call up companies whose products you purchase and demand they gurantee you they employ no gays?

It will just take a few people to stand up against the LGBST and say we will not spend our money to support thier life style and the stores will get the message.

It will take a wole lot more than "a few people" and would almost certainly result in a court case that would not go in your favor and leave you with few if any places left to spend your money at.

What I find most disgusting is the fact that this idiot and those like him would, in this day and age, actively seek to turn part of the population into second class citizens for no other reason than the fact that they don't who those people are attracted to. He is literally advocating that businesses, through means of economic blackmail, add the pharase "gays need not apply" to their job applications. Moreover, were they to succeed I have no illusions that it would stop there.

Or more simply. Don´t go there shopping. In a silent manner, without the stupid show of "talking to the manager". And the reason why you don´t do that is because, apart from the fact that you´d be starving(you´d never know if a person is gay or not and boycotting everything would be the only option), you´d realise that you´re probably the only boycotter or that the people who boycot too are few and sparse, making no significant impact. Numbers speak. When the black people boycotted the bus system in the sixties it did work. Why?, because the filthy rich whites had cars and, therefore, didn´t need the bus, something that the racist stupid Jim Crow laws didn´t bear in mind.

8/21/2011 12:50:04 PM

I feel they won't care that you won't shop there anymore.

8/21/2011 3:16:53 PM

I had someone actually try to pull that shit in a place I used to work. I remember the manager telling them "Good, because we don't want your business." and pointing towards the door. The look on their face was priceless.
