Am I wrong in my observation, or do we really see more and more cases in recent times where criminals try to excuse themselves that they don't need to respect the law because they are doing allegedly "god's will"?
A dozen similiar cases come to my mind where fundies defended them before court with "I followed gods law, which is above secular law".
If this trend really occurs, then christian fundamentalism is entering a very dangerous stage.

Um, I think that the government understands the legal processes involved in selling guns better than you do, Mr. Mullendore. Ah yes, the "I'm doing this for God" defense. It has been used by vandals, terrorists and murderers for years, so why not for gun profiteers.
