Virtually every day, Barack Hussein Obama is committing multiple treasons and high treasons against the United States of America. And STILL he is allowed to do so with nary a scolding...or a whimper. Nothing is ever done to stop him. Isn't it time for us to do so? Isn't it?

Who or what group might be willing to organize a few massive marches on D.C., and especially Congress, to stop this insanity and destruction of our country, our lives, and everything that — by the grace of God — we Americans have built or hold dear? Otherwise, there seems to be no other solution except violent civil unrest.

Even dyed-in-the-wool Democrat James Carville has said: "You know, look...you're smart enough to see this. People, you know, if it continues, we're going to start to see civil unrest in this country. I hate to say that, but I think it's imminently possible."

One of the things the Founders realized was that dictators use the charge of "treason" for anything they disagree with (cf. China). That's why treason is the only crime specifically defined in the Constitution: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court." (emphasis added).

What "enemy" has Obama adhered to, giving them aid and comfort? Al Qaeda? The Taliban? North Korea? Iran?

Carville: "People, you know, if it continues, we're going to start to see civil unrest in this country. I hate to say that, but I think it's imminently possible."

Carville was talking about unemployment; not Obama. He's probably right. We saw a bit of it in the 1930's, when unemployment was about triple what it is now. If the Tea Party solution is less Federal government, then why should they hold Obama responsible? What do they want? Less government or more government action?

Yeah, remember when Obama sold missiles to Iran, a country he himself acknowledged as a state which sponsored terrorism, and then used the money to fund rebels in Nicaragua? Oh wait, that was Reagan.

Oh, remember when Obama deregulated the savings and loan industry, allowing his friends to perpetuate the biggest theft in the history of civilization which taxpayers will be paying for for the next hundred years or so? Oh wait, that was Reagan too.

Wait, I got one, remember when Obama promoted a lie about Iraq having the capability of threatening the US with weapons of mass destruction, pushing us into a pointless and expensive war that proved to be the longest in American history? Whoops, I guess that was some one else.

I think it's kind of funny how Obama critics pretty much always put his entire name simply because his middle name is coincidentally the same as the last name of the former dictator of Iraq (and it's apparently a common name anyway, like "Smith" or "Jones" is among Western English-speakers). With every other president either the middle name is left out (which non-nutjobs do for Obama) or just shortened to the initial. Of course, initials are why Ulysses S. Grant changed his name, since he was born with the initials HUG. I'd imagine he would have had to put up with that as much as Obama does with his middle name.

One wonders what his definition of treason is?

Clearly Obama is in over his head on the economic questions. Then again, I think anyone would be in over their head. Things are a bit of a mess for multiple reasons and there are no easy solutions.

What we need is a long term bi-partisan economic strategy to reduce the national debt, increase jobs and repair the infrastruction. Three objectives that may well be mutually exclusive.

Unfortunately we're not about to get such a plan until people start electing senators and representatives willing to work together for the good of the country rather than for the benefit of a political party.

I'm not all that in tune with American politics, living in the Great Southern Land and all, but I have noticed that these accusations of Obama commiting treason are never bolstered by any evidence or even unverified examples or anecdotes. Byt that token you can say anything about anyone and it will be just as "true". The point is, unless you have something verifiable to contribute, you're better off just shutting up and not generating these vast quantities of noise.
