People like Mims are the pseudo scientists, because when they say something it cannot be wrong, even when it turns out to be wrong. I read his article that the Global Warming fruitcakes have no argument so they use a software puppet. One would expect no less.
Calling those who do not agree with you names like "crackpots" is not exactly the way to convince skeptics that the "Warmers" aren't just a bunch petty demagogues. If the "Warmers" have nothing to hide, then why are they hiding things?

If you want people to submit you constructive arguments, try to sound more apt to argue like an adult. Writing a long, thought out, researched argument is more work than most people are willing to waste on you.
You're not a skeptic. If you were a skeptic, you wouldn't talk of "software puppets" to describe computer models. You wouldn't talk about "hiding things". A skeptic is a person who educates themself fully about a topic before they decide what position they take on it. Being skeptical is a good thing. It gives you a good basis for your conclusions. Science is inherently skeptical. You are a denier . You have not educated yourself about the evidence for global warming. You have not discovered why it is that climatologists use computer models, or even what those models are and how they work. You parrot, uncomprehending, accusations of obfuscation and lies despite several independant inquiries conducted into the allegations that showed them to be unfounded. A denier knows none of the facts, unless they are skewed to his perspective. A denier wont ever have his mind changed because truth is not his goal. You simply don't want global warming to be true and like a child think it will go away if you don't acknowledge it. Sounds pretty much like a crackpot to me.

Maybe not, but they're called that usually because they're crackpots.
The vast majority of climate scientists say warming is real. If someone isn't a climate scientist themselves, why would they believe the small minority who say otherwise? What criteria are they using to make that decision? Especially when the fossil fuel and electric generating industries have a strong financial interest in denying and the climate scientists don't. Back in the 50's, scientists said smoking causes lung cancer. The cigarette companies found a few crackpots to say otherwise. Which ones were right?
What's really sad is that I suspect that a lot of the global warming denialists are the ones who will be affected the worst when we fail to address the problem and the shit hits the fan. When gas prices spike up to $20/gallon and we haven't done anything to improve the lousy public transportation in the US, it will cost them more to drive their gas-guzzling SUV from the suburbs to their $10/hour job than they make in a day. If it were just them, I might be tempted to just say, 'Fuck them, they did it to themselves," but the rest of us will get screwed by their stupidity too.

Yes. This. This needs to be sent to everyone who thinks they're being clever by ignoring evidence and thinking they know more of a subject than people who have dedicated their lives to its study.
The scientists who profess a belief that anthropogenic global warming is real tend to be insistent because of the large, weighty tomes of data and mutually supporting evidence that it is. For some reason, they think that should probably be enough to convince people, and are understandably surprised and frustrated when it isn't.
