Quote# 83622

[On the WorldNetDaily cruise to Alaska] Dr. Jerome Corsi, a brilliant speaker, shared his findings in the mysterious search for the true identity of Barack Obama. He mentioned Obama's Social Security Number from Connecticut. It was not issued to him but to an alias, Harrison J. Bounel, who database searches show is related to Michelle Obama. Why does the president have a false identity? William Ayers, Obama's radical communist long-time friend, was a fugitive and is an expert at false IDs.

Birthers make up another silly story, part 43222326.

Evidence? Oh, that's right, you don't have any. Same as with brain cells.

9/6/2011 4:15:48 AM

Nobody likes you Jackson. Go peddle your defective reality in a padded room.

9/6/2011 4:50:59 AM

Maybe I'm being a Grammar Nazi, but "the mysterious search for the true identity of Barack Obama"? The search itself is what's mysterious?

On second thought, yes, I suppose the search is mysterious. In that it's a mystery how you can be so thick.

Y'know, I had a crush on her, back when she was on SNL. When she performed at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, reciting a poem while doing a handstand, I thought it was kinda hot.

The shit she spews nowadays, though... the fact that I ever found THAT attractive makes me feel... unclean.

9/6/2011 6:01:32 AM

Obama could show you his birth certificate twice before you can produce evidence of this. He already has in fact, and you lose.

9/6/2011 7:08:21 AM

Doubting Thomas

The only thing that's mysterious about Obama's identity is why anyone thinks there's something suspicious about it.

Get in your damn car, drive to CN, go to the address, talk to the landlord and neighbors, go to the town hall and police department, and good luck....because you know Rachel Maddow's nerd squad is debunking this "mystery" as we speak.

D Laurier

Barak Obama:
A Hawaiian born, semi-white, american guy, who holds right wing, authoritarian, political views.
Not crazy enough to join the republicans... but not aggressive enough to smack them around.

See. I DO follow foreign politics

9/6/2011 2:15:34 PM

J. James

@D Laurier

"Right-wing, authoritarian views"?

Where do you LIVE? Here, he's considered center-leftist by the Left wing, and at LEAST Socialist by the Right.

And authoritarian? Where do you get that from?

9/6/2011 4:06:40 PM

Now, now. It's not nice to mock the mentally impaired.

9/6/2011 4:12:54 PM

Giardano Bruno

I like Barack Obama, although not as much as his missus.

But for D Laurier: by European standards, Obama is Conservative.

@J. James

Have a look at Obama's policies, especially regarding the war in Afghanistan and the Iraq occupation, rather than his media persona. "Warmed-over Bush" sounds about right.

9/6/2011 6:26:33 PM

Oh boy, Jerome Corsi. And here I was thinking his 15 minutes were up.

9/6/2011 7:01:55 PM

Zeus Almighty

Victoria, I think it's much more likely that your mom shot up smack and drank heavily while pregnant with you than Obama was born in another country.
That's a much cleaner explanation for your "mystery."

9/6/2011 7:35:22 PM

J. James

@Raised by Horses

Huh. I thought that "Authoritarian" meant basically a police state at home, not continuing silly wars with other countries.

... Last time I checked, America is still a democracy and Obama's title isn't "president for life". I count authoritarian regimes as being like Turkmenstan, Myanmar, Singapore and China. And friggin' North Korea, god DAMN is it ever North Korea.

Not only that, but Obama hasn't even suggested even an inkling of authoritarian beliefs, not just policy.

9/6/2011 7:40:06 PM

Brendan Rizzo

@ D Laurier and Giardano Bruno:

Okay then, can someone please tell us what is liberal by European standards, since apparently no politician in the backwards United States qualifies for the title?

@ Raised by Horses:

Oh, and by the way, using Noam Chomsky as a source automatically discredits you. Since hydraulics engineers like the late Henry Morris are unqualified to speak of evolutionary biology, why do you think that linguists such as Chomsky know what they are talking about in political science?

9/7/2011 5:59:35 AM

Could it be that it is handed to........some guy called that way and related to his wife?. I don't see the point, honestly.

9/7/2011 10:42:56 AM

@ J. James

American here. D. Laurier isn't that far off. I don't know anyone among my many liberal friends who considers Obama to be center-left. In fact, none of us voted for him in the primary because we felt he was too conservative. Of course the Republicans call him Socialist because that's what they always call Democrats. They've just gotten more milage out of all that BS with Obama because he's biracial and their older, fundie white base always wrongly assumes that every black politician is only out to give welfare "handouts" to blacks and other minorities. His policies, though, would have put him on the Republican ticket in the 1970s, before they got so crazy.

I wouldn't say authoritarian, but Obama's continued and even expanded upon the Bush-era illegal wiretapping and other Patriot Act policies. He proposed catastrophic, totally uneccessary cuts to Social Security, funded the health care bill in part by cutting food stamps and home heating assistance for the poor, is now talking about "reforming" Social Security and Medicare (we all know what that means), has just approved a pipeline that scientists say will be catasrophic to the climate, and promotes trade policies that will further damage our already dwindling manufacturing base. He's also said, in at least one interview that I've seen, that he thinks marriage should just be for man/woman.

That's pretty fucking right-wing, in my book, even if the bar has been moved so much farther to the right by the current crop of teabagger, right-wing wack-jobs.

9/10/2011 8:34:44 PM

And here all the time I watched her play the airheaded bimbo on SNL, I thought it was just an act.

9/10/2011 8:44:07 PM

J. James

Aside from the Patriot Act thing, meh. He's also shown more liberal tendencies. I'll vote for him-- if only to prevent the absolute and total catastrophe that Romney, or HEAVEN FORBID Perry would inflict upon this nation.

Honestly, does ANYONE think that the United States could survive FOUR YEARS with the likes of Perry at the helm? Just look what he did to TEXAS! Seriously, HOW DO YOU FUCK UP TEXAS!?

For a liberal, it might be a "lesser of two evils" deal, but I'm actually rather moderate and am pretty comfortable with Obama as president.

9/10/2011 11:04:15 PM

Dr. Steve Brule

Jerome Corsi and the shitheads behind WND sure are milking this cow for as much as they can. It takes a lot of devoted fans to organize a trip like this.

@ Brendan Rizzo
So using that same logic Richard Dawkins shouldn't be speaking about theology, how dare a biologist comment on something outside their area of expertise right? Chomsky is a brilliant genius whose works (Both the Linguistics and the Political) are cited and used throughout all of the Social Sciences, and when I was minoring in Poli Science, I invoked his work all the time and none of my professors ever seemed to mind. The few that I did speak to directly about him expressed deep admiration and respect for his work.

@J. James
Center-left my ass! Obama is just as much of an elite-pluralist as any center-right politician. I would say he is a foot to the left of Barry Goldwater.
