I personally do not accept blood from filthy, gluttonous christians, thank you very much.
9/17/2011 5:52:57 AM
I would take whatever blood had passed all the medical tests to ensure that it carried nothing that could harm me. If you are worried about HIV look to your own, heterosexual people can get it as well but don't worry about blood from a blood bank because you will need it fast and they do their best to make sure it is clean.
If you are so worried never ever accept blood ever. Cause a homosexual person could just lie about their sex lives to donate blood. You wont catch HIV or AIDS from it but you might catch the Ghey.
9/17/2011 6:14:31 AM
Translation: "It doesn't matter that ALL donated blood is screened for diseases, it isn't screened for Being From People I Don't Like!!"
9/17/2011 6:23:20 AM
Seriously, fuck you. If blood passes the screening process, it doesn't matter who it came from. That's the POINT.
9/17/2011 6:25:09 AM
hmm, i looked at this thread a week ago but now i need to login to see it... what gives?
Rapture Ready is such a fascinating community. I've seen people get torn apart there, declared "Trolls" and "non-christians" just because their views were *slightly* to the left of complete batshit insanity.
9/17/2011 6:26:20 AM
Yay stereotypes and discrimination
9/17/2011 6:32:25 AM
Riiiight... because there is no way to test blood for HIV or heroin.......
9/17/2011 6:32:31 AM
Assuming I were still conscious after loss of blood enough to be making decisions I would probably say something like
"I don't give a **** where the blood comes from as long as it matches"
It's better than dying.
This idiocy reminds me of that M*A*S*H episode
9/17/2011 6:43:08 AM
"If I, or someone else, was given blood that a gay person donated I would be very, very, angry. Then I would sue, because that's all they would understand."
Just imagine if you needed a couple of units of blood from different donors. Why, you might get some gay blood and blood from a black person. You could wake up with a permanent tan and be gay, too!
Now there's a law suit waiting to happen.
Or maybe you're just a bigoted fuckwit.
9/17/2011 7:22:10 AM
Just so you know, there is nigger blood in those blood banks too. Just in case you were wondering why you came out of the hospital with an irresistable craving for watermelon and fried chicken and an urge to vote for Obama.
9/17/2011 7:23:19 AM
Like everyone else said, if the blood has been screened then it is safe. However, if you ever find yourself dying and the only blood someone could give you came from a gay person I'm sure you'd change your mind. You fundies tend to fear death more than anyone else. That's why you believe in an afterlife and also want the rapture to happen in your lifetimes, so you won't have to die like everyone else.
9/17/2011 7:26:55 AM
Wasn't there an argument somewhat like this when blood transfusions first became available about how white people didn't want blood from black people?
9/17/2011 7:29:12 AM
What the fuck is wrong with you? If I were dying and got a blood transfusion, my only thought would be immense gratitude toward the person who donated it, whomever they may be. I have young children to take care of and I need to be there for them. The person who made it possible for me to continue to do that would be, in my eyes, a saint.
You are a shallow, hateful shell of a human being, hollowed out by religious legalism and irrational fear. Living with you must be hell on earth.
9/17/2011 7:38:29 AM
For the last time, NOT ALL GAYS HAVE FUCKING AIDS!
@ Kitty Kaboom:
Living in the same COUNTRY as them is hell on Earth.
9/17/2011 8:05:38 AM
How could you sue anybody? They don't put names, addresses and sexual orientation on the bags. All the identification is blood type.
To Mr Spak.
I was not aware that black people craved water melon or fried chicken anymore than anyone else does. I would suggest you choose your words a little more carefully in the future

"I am monogomous with my husband; my blood is safe".
Great: so am I, so is mine. So no problem then, eh?
9/17/2011 8:21:32 AM
If I, or someone else, was given blood that a black person donated I would be very, very, angry. Then I would sue, because that's all they would understand.
There is a reason God decreed blacks to be a INFERIOR.
Walker, if you are OK getting black blood, fine. I'm just saying the general population needs to be given the choice, before someone puts black blood in their body. Kosher/nonkosher is a dietary thing. It will not kill a Jew, to get blood from me after I ate a bacon cheeseburger. I am the same race as my husband; my blood is safe.
I'm a blood donor. So is my husband. So are most of my family. Most of my family has gotten blood; SAFE blood that came from people who did not marry someone of a different race.
I'm curious, if someone reading this is fine with the idea of getting black blood, what about blood from a chinese person? One you know who worships a false god.
Would you take black blood?
Blood from a chinese person?
Blood from someone who sold their body for "money or drugs"?
Right now, none of them can donate. IMO, it needs to STAY that way.
There was an episode of M*A*S*H* that addressed this issue of a soldier getting black blood. A lot of those are referencing that particular episode.
9/17/2011 8:22:22 AM
@Frank "All the identification is blood type."
Not entirely true. Once I had given blood and had taken some ibuprofin the day before, and there was a note made on the bag about the potential drug contents. There are probably a few other over the counter medications that they will take along with your blood, as long as they know about it and can check for any potential interactions.
Unfortunately, they won't take my blood anymore since I tend to go into shock. I'm willing, they're not.
9/17/2011 8:33:04 AM
Yup. God frowns upon gay sex. Just like pork products. And shellfish. And tattoos. And clothes of mixed fabric. And Christmas trees.
9/17/2011 8:51:58 AM
Actually they can. And blood gets tested. I'd have no issues with it as long as the blood is compatible. Then again I am not driven by hatred nor bigotry
9/17/2011 8:58:49 AM
If I, or someone else, was given blood that a gay person donated I would be very, very, angry. Then I would sue, because that's all they would understand.
How would you know? Does gay blood sparkle or something? Or, after the transfusion, do you suddenly get an intense desire to watch musicals and decorate houses?
9/17/2011 9:05:19 AM
Oh good. The Rapture Readians can all go die and the stupid that they could pass on will die with them.
9/17/2011 9:11:01 AM
You do know that hetrosexuals spread aids around faster than gays, right?
9/17/2011 9:12:35 AM
I am monogomous with my husband; my blood is safe.
Your husband, on the other hand...
9/17/2011 9:19:25 AM
Dear lord, she's right! We can't take that kind of risk. After all, it's not like these organizations test and screen the donated blood for any harmful chemicals or pathogens. And we don't even know what kind of virus causes Gay in the first place! I might get a life-saving transfusion and later find myself wanting to bang a dude! Stay vigilant, friends! It could happen!
I suddenly wonder if someone can do what Hawkeye did in M*A*S*H and make her think she's turning gay. Maybe give her a butch haircut while she's asleep. Slowly sneak all of her skirts and dresses out of her wardrobe over a period of weeks. Replace the American flag which is no doubt proudly displayed over her front yard with a rainbow flag. The possibilities of mindfuckery are endless!
