So, let me get this straight... Obama told the U.S. military to fake a night mission in Pakistan to assassinate Bin Laden, so we deliberately crash a top-secret helicopter in some abandoned compound (thereby giving top-secret technology to the Pakistanis and anyone they want to sell it to), shoot a few guns off, then fly off to an aircraft carrier pretending to carry Bin Laden's body in order to distract people from a book written by a birther, whom nobody really takes seriously anyway? Not to mention that people can still read the book if they want to, and now Obama has a (yet another) vast conspiracy which he has to keep everyone involved from talking about.

Ahh, the core component of any good conspiracy theory. An unnamed "friend" with "spook contacts." Tell you what, Ann, I actually served in the military with a Top Secret security clearance, and the first thing they tell you is to never talk about anything you're working on under penalty of a lengthy prison sentence. Not to say that there would never be a leak, but for some reason we never hear of the mundane classified tasks of the intelligence or military world, but we always hear intricate details of bizzare conspiracy theories.
But I'm quite sure that all these unnamed sources in the intelligence community don't really exist. It's just a way to assert proof of your paranoid conspiracy theory without having to show proof. It's similar to a teenage virgin claiming that he's had sex with a dozen women in another city. It doesn't convince anyone.

On May 5th I had an email conversation with a retired military man with spook contacts. All were in total agreement that the Bin Laden episode was pure theater. The SEALS were sent into a compound as evidenced by the lost chopper on site. But Osama Bin Laden wasn't in that compound. Osama Bin Laden has been dead for years. Bin Laden had a genetic condition that caused renal failure (this genetic condition is common among deeply inbred Saudi arab muslims). Bin Laden had been on dialysis BEFORE 9/11. Dialysis is difficult enough for people in first world countries who can have it done in outstanding facilities. Bin Laden was having it done either in caves or in homes post 9/11. People in renal failure having dialysis done in fricking caves do NOT live for ten more years. Period. There was no dialysis equipment found in the compound the SEALS raided on May 2. Of course there wasn't. Bin Laden wasn't in that compound because Bin Laden has been dead for years.
They did a good job of hiding all that non-state-of-the-art dialysis equipment in all those videos of him, then.

DNA is not the only way to identify a body. In fact it's only an identification method is you have a matching DNA sample or a preexisting sample from a family member.
Dental records and finger prints are a more likely and efficient ID method.
Facial identification is less accurate but still pretty viable as an ID method.
