Hate-filled, judgmental, holier-than-thou fundamentalist are one of the world's biggest problems. But they're not confined to Muslims. Where Muslim fundamentalists are majority, as in Iran, they try to impose their views on everyone. When Baptist fundamentalists are majority, as in the American South, they try to impose their views on everyone, too.
Fortunately, the US Constitution has prevented these lunatics from imposing their "Christian" theocracy on the rest of us. But lunatic-fringe fundies like Michele Bachman would be perfectly happy to if she had her way.
