Quote# 84373

Look at the political base of the Democratic Party: it is single mothers who run a household. Why? Because it’s so tough economically that they look to the government for help and therefore they’re going to vote. So if you want to reduce the Democratic advantage, what you want to do is build two parent families, you eliminate that desire for government.

Good one, Rick. Now tell the one about the minister, the priest and the rabbi who walk into a bar.

Barack Obama is a single mother? I don't see the logic in that, Rick Anal Seepage.

All I can hear is a frothing sound, do others hear the same thing?

It's like he wants something reasonable (fewer single-parent homes) but wants to take the most retarded possible route to get there (abstinence-only sex ed, banning contraception, attacking abortion).

Basically we just need more people getting married and that'll fix every social problem because Jesus.

Rick Santorum is so out of touch that he makes Michelle Bachmann look progressive. It is unbelievable that this fucking douchebag has the balls to run for President, shows how out of touch he is.

Stick to talking about things you understand. That would pretty much guarantee you'd never talk about anything again.

"build two parent families"

Does this mean you support homosexual marriages, and allow said homosexuals to adopt?

Hey Ricky, you are so wrong. My grandmother was a single parent, worked her ass off to support 4 kids, and she was a staunch republican from the word go.

Does this include the poor widows of U.S. servicemen killed in the wars started by your GOP darling george w. bush?

Why do you hate women, Ricky? Is your penis really that small?

Sorry to make a reality check but why is it that Texas, the state with the highest number of out of wedlock children and welfare queens is also red like blood?. Just a thought.

Middle-aged white guy, no kids, here; lifelong Democrat. Up yours, Ricky.

And if you did anything to help them you'd have their vote.

Right, because everything always works out all time every time 100% of all times.

All we have to do, is be Republican! And not deviate. Possibly TRY to not be black!

Seriously, fuck you Rick. Fuck your fucking fucked up face. Your a corporate shill with fascist aspirations and you want to standardize mankind.

Fucker!

I love that stereotype that all liberals are poor, underprivileged homemakers dependent on the government for support.

Of course, it's a horseshit stereotype.

My mom's a single mother. By choice. She wanted to raise me on her own and by God, she did it (and I didn't turn out too bad - no drugs, no delinquency, etc.). She had a great job when I was growing up - she didn't need government assistance. And we're both true-blue liberals, because there are people who do need assistance to survive in this cutthroat world you promote.

I had a great childhood. We were pretty well-off. And I never needed a father to help provide that. Stop trying to push the artificially-constructed nuclear family on America. You're looking more and more like a parody every day - except you're serious.

...can you tell this bullshit annoys me?

10/25/2011 11:24:48 AM

So it's blacks again, Nick? Get out.

So if you want to reduce the Democratic advantage, what you want to do is build two parent families, you eliminate that desire for government.

Conversely, you Christians (who, by your own claim, are the majority), could do what your Bible teaches, and actually take care of the poor, thus eliminating the need for government intervention.

Since that has not happened in the last two thousand years (and is less likely now that the Republicans have convinced you that God only likes rich people), the poor need to turn to the government to help.

So Rick, are you going to have federal agents force people to get married at the business end of a shotgun then? Yea, because that will shrink government, an entire department whose sole purpose is to keep track of people fucking. Fucking moron... No wonder your name means shit and lube.

10/25/2011 8:56:11 PM

I don't understand this, can someon explain the logic behind this to an ignorant scandinavian like myself.

(P)Rick here would have an aneurysm if he watched the BBC drama-documentary "Cathy Come Home":

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathy_Come_Home

And not just for it's subject matter, neither. "Cathy Come Home" was instrumental in destroying the old social taboo in the UK about single parenting, in the 1960s.

Such is the power of TV.

@dionysus:

P.S. Does anyone else find it hypocritical that the Teapublicans that are so anti-government are running for government positions?

I can't remember who said it or the exact wording, but there's a quote something like, "conservatives believe government always fails, and, when they're elected, prove just that."

10/26/2011 8:13:57 AM

How do people this fucking stupid make it so far in life? It really burns my ass.
