My suggestion look at previous cases [of cattle mutilations] and contact the ranches and ask. I have seen many reports where ranchers in the US say it happens so often that they dont always report every case anymore, or that the media doesnt pick their stories up. They seem to be sincerely very worried about it and one doc I ssaw a smaller ranch owner made the claim that it was ruining his cattle business as it was happening on a monthly basis and he couldnt afford the losses.

On a side not have you seen that camera footage from a women who set a camera up facing her large back garden after finding her animals going missing and also being mutilated? Its in night vision and one night the animals pause and then scatter away in a panic, moments later a wide light shines down on the area where they were, you can see the source of the light as it is above the camera field of view. I dont know why this footage impacted me so much, but something about it really freaked me out.

hmm, sounds more like a passive infra-red security lamp to me. It needs adjusting so that the animals don't trigger it.

Believe it or not I have seen the video he mentions (can't find it now), back when I had a fairly active interest in that sort of thing. I was not in the least bit impressed by it. So that says something right there, that even back when I knew little enough to actually believe this sort of stuff (my early teens) I still thought it was a load of crap.

I'll bet if they find the dead animal within a day after it died they butcher it and sell the meat, no matter what killed it.

Yup, that sounds right. Aliens travel light years to get here and what they're interested in is mutilating cattle. No credible contacts with the dominant life form on the planet, nope, they want bovine genitals.

P.S. I know why it impacted you so much. You're a nitwit.

Sounds like either a prank or something done to get attention.

@Papabear:

And stuffing things up our ass!
Dont forget the probing thing!

-Seriously though, If "They" wanted to study cow biology, wouldn't they have found out all they wanted after the first thousand mutilations?
Or is it just a case of intercalactic assholes, like in "Evil Aliens" ? In that movie they mutilate cattle and probe humans just for fun...

You say that because you're sure that nobody is going to contact those ranchers at all. Otherwise, they would say, WTF?

Without cattle mutilation (or butchering as most people call it), where would hamburgers come from?
