Quote# 84655

While reading on Twitter the unbridled hatred that many young (and old) Americans have for Sarah Palin, (subject of an earlier post) it occurred to me I was observing the same kind of attitude (in embryonic form) that was exampled by the Cambodian thug communist soldiers. It was initially a mystery to me, for I was asking myself, how could this intense hatred grow, and how could it be so widespread. It had to be something systematic, but what was that system?

Its an issue I hadn’t previously given much thought to. A couple or recent events alerted me to a possible solution. I read Bill Lind’s address on Critical Theory, about the psychological tools the academic left use to make a society hate itself. I thought about this and the recent widespread irrational expressions of hatred for Conservatives that were most apparent after the Arizona shootings. The pieces fell into place.

What we are experiencing today in the West is perhaps Phase One of the plan that transforms normal people with normal ambitions and desires into hate driven genocidal maniacs. I can already hear the usual suspects calling extreme lunacy as usual, but I challenge anyone to provide any explanation for the widespread and systematic hatred that is on display in American society towards Conservatives, and is especially intense towards Conservative women (Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin for example) or Conservative blacks, or Christian Conservatives. There absolutely has to be a political force behind it.

And that force is energised by the left. By the Progressives. By the cultural Marxists. Mostly by means of their Critical Theory, where everything about the west is criticised as bad (usually on completely false grounds) and no alternative is offered. It is merely a theory that says “the west is bad, and Conservative thought is bad”, and therefore they must be destroyed. And that message is repeated like a drumbeat through every means of communication the left control. Our schools, our universities, our mass media, our entertainment sources, our bureaucracies and our governments all repeat the message and it finally receives mass acceptance.

And this is why we see ignorant school children (among others) who do not even know one real or truthful thing about Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann, writing intensely hateful messages to them and about them in social media. The process is underway where the seed is implanted and the innocent child who would otherwise grow to adulthood and aspire to normalcy, becomes the hate driven foot soldier for genocide.

You wish you were this important uh? If you were hated, it would mean people wouldn't be indifferent to you! Maybe the giggles when you talk hurt your feelings badly, but they don't express hatred, and that hurts even more.
Hey, I know how being socially awkward is difficult, and there's no miracle cure, but one good start: stop talking about politics. Not even this one time, not ever. People will stop outright laughing at you, then you might grow confident enough to get to know them and eventually make friends.

The hatred of Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann is no mystery. They're complete fucking lunatics that are trying to gain power, and that's unacceptable. If you can't finish a coherent sentence, how are you supposed to lead a nation?

If it's female leadership you want, bark up Hillary Clinton's tree.

Bachmann and Palin are rightly mocked for having the IQ of a stunned gnat between them. Also for their deeply unpleasant attitudes. If the USA really hated itself, the best thing it could do would be to vote for one of these two maniacs and watch the country implode. Yet some people, like the liberal-marxist-bilderberg-crypto-fascists, (or whatever your current term for non tea-baggers is), are opposed to voting for people who make George Bush look like Einstein. In the immortal words of Marie Curie, "You, sir, are a c***."

I'm pretty sure most people don't hate Palin or Bachmann, they just really, really disagree with their political and social beliefs and do not want them gaining more power.

I challenge anyone to provide any explanation for the widespread and systematic hatred that is on display in American society towards Conservatives, and is especially intense towards Conservative women (Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin for example) or Conservative blacks, or Christian Conservatives.

Their beliefs are being skewered regardless of race or gender; it's not like Santorum or Perry are getting a free pass because they're male. It's not even Christian conservatives who are being so vehemently opposed; it's the fundies who want the whole country to forcibly ascribe to those conservative Christian values. Us liberals generally don't have a problem with someone who keeps their beliefs to themselves and doesn't try to convert everyone over to their point of view.

I'm not even sure hate's the right word, though as Matante said you're probably using that word to feel more noticed. I don't hate any of the Republican candidates, but I wouldn't want most of them to be president because I disagree with some of their beliefs very strongly. Trying to outlaw abortion and bring back some of the restrictions on gay rights do not sit well with a lot of the country.

The process is underway where the seed is implanted and the innocent child who would otherwise grow to adulthood and aspire to normalcy, becomes the hate driven foot soldier for genocide.

That suggests that conservatism is normal. From the last few elections it seems like the country is rather evenly split. Even so, I'm trying to figure out how communicating conservatives' more divisive beliefs leads to genocide. But, I guess in your warped logic not liking a set of beliefs means you want to exterminate everyone who believes in them. Too bad that's not actually how liberals feel (minus the tiny percentage who are crazy like you).

You have no idea how bad this really is. I've heard there are people out there that actually believe Michele Bachmann is sane!

11/4/2011 10:58:37 PM

Its not because she's a Republican, or even a conservative or a Christian, or what have you. Its because she's a fucking idiot.

You seriously saying lampooning such an imbecile and the people who actually voted for her is akin to the actions of the Khamer Rouge? Seriously? I always suspected Americans - particularly, well, how can I put this delicately? Americans like yourself were masters of hyperbole, but my mind is blown by your mastery of it.

Sarah who?

Holy fuck look at the size of that persecution complex. Also, the reason why Palin is disliked in the first place is because she is one of the most incompetent people i have seen ever running to a public office anywhere in the world.

While reading on Fundies Say the Darndest Things the unbridled hatred that many young (and old) Americans have for Barack Obama, it occurred to me I was observing the same kind of attitude (in embryonic form) that was exemplified by the Cambodian thug communist soldiers. It was initially a mystery to me, for I was asking myself, how could this intense hatred grow, and how could it be so widespread. It had to be something systematic, but what was that system?

Its an issue I hadn’t previously given much thought to. A couple or recent events alerted me to a possible solution. I read Rational Wiki’s article on the Religious Right, about the psychological tools the Religious Right use to make a society hate itself. I thought about this and the recent widespread irrational expressions of hatred for liberals that were most apparent after the election of Obama. The pieces fell into place.

What we are experiencing today in the West is perhaps Phase One of the plan that transforms normal people with normal ambitions and desires into hate driven genocidal maniacs. I can already hear the usual suspects calling extreme lunacy as usual, but I challenge anyone to provide any explanation for the widespread and systematic hatred that is on display in American society towards liberals, and is especially intense towards liberal women (Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi for example) or black liberals, or secularist liberals. There absolutely has to be a political force behind it.

And that force is energised by the right. By the Tea Partiers. By the cultural fascists. Mostly by means of their rhetoric, where everything about the West (post-Enlightenment, of course) is criticised as bad (almost always on completely false grounds) and no alternative is offered. It is merely a theory that says “the Enlightenment and rationalism are bad, and liberal thought is bad”, and therefore they must be destroyed. And that message is repeated like a drumbeat through every means of communication the right control. Private schools, our churches, our mass media (see Fox News), our entertainment sources (see all the movies and TV shows with an anti-intellectual bent), our bureaucracies and our governments (see the disaster that is the 112th Congress) all repeat the message and it finally receives mass acceptance.

And this is why we see ignorant school children (among others) who do not even know one real or truthful thing about Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, writing intensely hateful messages to them and about them in social media. The process is underway where the seed is implanted and the innocent child who would otherwise grow to adulthood and aspire to normality, becomes the hate driven foot soldier for genocide.

Fixed it for you, oh so gloriously.

From the Conservative Dictionary:

hate (v.t.):
1. to contradict Our irrefutable Truth
2. to belittle one of Our people
n.b. Liberals misuse the term to refer to Our righteous condemnation of liberal wickedness. We Conservatives do not hate anyone, and we will kill anyone who says otherwise, as a manifestation of Our love.

Imagine that. Liberals are against conservatives. Who'd have thought it? So I guess all the conservative hatred for liberals, even to the point of using "liberal" as a pejorative, is perfectly acceptable?

I don't even think it's hatred, it's just mockery because these people say stupid things and believe stupid things.
The rest of it is sheer paranoia. A lot of what this guy considers hatred is just perfectly valid criticism of their ideas. Probably not the first step on the slippery slope that will lead to a Khmer Rouge-style year zero. If only.

I don't hate either of them. I'm scared of how much power they currently have, and the fact I know several bricks smarter then them. And I also don't like the conservative agenda.

Palin has stated that she believes the Rapture will happen in her lifetime.

That means she's actively looking forward to the end of the world, and she wanted a job that would give her control of nuclear weapons.

Can you see why we might be a little concerned about that?
