Because everyone knows that climate-research scientists working for universities are filthy rich from government grants, whereas researchers working for thinktanks supported by donations from energy companies with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo struggle to make ends meet.

Yeah, they're going to vaccinate everybody, and thus destroy capitalism with all their truth and facts ... um, how's that work, again?
Gimme that hockey stick. I've got a good use for it.

And of course religion is nothing like that. They never come up with a conclusion first and then fit all data to support that conclusion.

A lot of “science” is all about power and money. Studies which “have” to have particular results, paid for by corporations and governments.
At least she got this much right. Unfortunately, the fact that man-made global warming is bad news for many corporations and would cut into their profits if they had to do something about it and therefore have every reason to pay scientists to "disprove" it has gone completely over her head.

Oh, susie, who is so delusional has now taken her delusions to a new level. Damn those paid off scientists in susie's world, working evil in the name of science. It must be lonely in her world of idiocy...oh no...it's not...there are many more just like her in this sad world.

I have the strange feeling that savagesusie would question global warming and vaccine safety if a polio victim crawled from the sea at her recently produced beachfront property and slapped her in the face.

Goodness gracious, savagesusie uttered an actual fact. Let us just hope that history rearranges itself to keep her still wrong, to avert this paradox.

The hockey stick refers to the graphs used to show reconstructed estimates of the temperature record of the past 1000 years, which in turn demonstrate that the warmest decade in the past thousand years occurred at the end of the 20th Century. The "Hockey Stick Graph", far from being disproven, has been duplicated dozens of times by independent groups and all pointing to the same result.

She was using it to attempt to argue that a fanatically capitalist government, and corporations are trying to destroy capitalism, so that balances things back out.

This must be why, when the Koch brothers paid scientists to disprove global warming, they were "surprised" to discover that their results matched those of the consensus of scientists -- global warming/climate change, wtf you want to call it, is REAL.
