For anyone who has seen Forest Gump, we now have learned that somehow their is a advantage to being stupid. We never quite learn what that advantage is, but somehow we learn there is a advantage to it, and stupid people can lead a rich, full productive life. Of course from a evos perspective, the main thing required is for a species to reproduce itself. There I can see a real advantage to being stupid. After all, forest did somehow manage to reproduce himself. In fact if it were not for his mom having sex with the school master, she would not have been able to get him enrolled. For us I think, if we were smart enough to know what we were getting ourselves into, when we have kids, perhaps a lot of us would have decided to not have kids. So being stupid is an advantage there.
