This again?! It's the second time this has been said this month! No, the DNA of human beings is not "twisted" in any way different from how it is in animals. The original illustrations for human DNA were in error, and were flipped around. That is all.

People have been looking for something unique about human anatomy for ages. Back in the 19th century, they briefly thought they had found it in a small structure in the brain (the hippocampus), but then they found it in other apes, too. If human DNA was different than other living creatures, they wouldn't be able to splice functioning human genes into other animals - something which has been done frequently by geneticists.

You are either wrong, or deliberately lying. Virtually all DNA coils tot he right, because it is made from left-chiral molecules. Left-coiling DNA has been synthesized, but it is not stable, and no known life forms use it.

What? The source of the Right hand left Hand twist is your anus?

Not quite. Most biological DNA is B-DNA, which is a right-handed helix, but this has nothing to do with the chirality of the components. Z-DNA, which has a left-handed helix, is made of the same components and shows up in various less-common biological roles - often by unwinding B-DNA and twisting it the other way. B-DNA gets twisted that way often enough that you and I and Waiting1 all have a bit of Z-DNA in our bodies right now.
I reference Wikipedia:

Forgive my lay understanding of this, but isn't it, you know, not true?
How's that bearing false witness thing working out for you?

"Scientists discover gawd's signature as proof positive ....."
I dont get it. I dont see anything in DNA that resembles any signature, or points to any kind of a gawd that made/designed/painted/grew/pulled out of a hat/or anything else that points to a creation of a gawd. How did Waiting 1 come up with such a conclusion? Wishful thinking I suppose.
Oh, and what in that DNA is evidence that such gawd you claim is in fact your christinsane gawd???? Sure it isnt Lord Shiva? Horus? Mithras?
Yes, evidently, my reasoning abilities are eluged by such obvious ties in the evidence.....

God knew that man would deny this obvious imprint He made to indicate His Signature on Mankind themselves.
If He knew that, why didn't He do something more obvious, like appearing on the Six O'Clock News? What kind of sadist would hide bizarre, complicated, vague and unintelligible clues to his existence, then send people to Hell for not believing he exists?

As God's Signature on His Special Creation, I was expecting something more like, "Jehovah Was Here," you know? Something definite, not just a kinky spiral.

Doubting ThomasWasn't this on here just a few days ago? Is the "right hand DNA twist" the new creationist straw they're grasping at? You know, they're so desperate for arguments that they either claim that any scientific data which they misunderstand is evidence of biblical creation, or they make up arguments out of thin air. As in this argument, which is totally false, since human DNA has the same twist as all other plant & animal DNA.
Even if we did have DNA that twists the other way, it doesn't prove that biblegod is real. I'd say that it proves that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the real creator of the universe, since rotini also twists to the right.

Even if that were true, how does it prove that God exists? How would a Hindu or a Buddhist interpret it, for instance? The most it would prove is that humans are in some ways different from other animals, which we already know.
