I'm against death penalty no matter what the crime in question might be (thank the spirits it's been done away with where I live). You on the other hand seem to think people who exercise their rights to think, say and do as they please (limited by the law obviously) should be put to death... Who is the hateful one here again?

I think that God could handle punishing people for their rebellion himself, what with him being God and all. To assume that he would need some mere human like yourself to do his biding for him is profoundly arrogant. And I don’t think that an authoritarian God who is as angry, unforgiving, and draconian as you imagine would take too kindly to such presumptuousness.

Your "god" must be very weak if you have to do "his" job for "him". I mean, if this "god" really exists, doesn't "he" punish us unbelievers in time? Don't you, by doing "his" work, try to elevate yourselves to "his" level? If I was a god, trying to do my work would be a serious offense.
