I know this is going to sound harsh, sobeit. Obama is the most contemptible and loathsome person ever in the history of this nation to maintain a public position – and I am prepared to vigorously defend that statement. The Ku Klux Klan and Al Qaeda have done less to divide and harm America than Obama and here’s why.
Yesterday speaking at Osawatomie High School in Osawatomie, Kansas, Obama said that “limited government” and “rugged individualism doesn’t work and has never worked.” He said that America must “look to a more activist government that taxes more, spends more and regulates more if they want to preserve the middle class.”
Folks, that is without question the most unambiguous admonition for Communism ever made by a sitting president of the United States. It is one more demonstrative statement that Obama is a Communist whose primary goal is to turn America into a Communist nation. And, permit me to interject that Republicans, (and quite frankly Democrats too), who are standing by, silently allowing this Erebusic megalomaniac to spew his detestable and divisive rhetoric to the impressionable and malleable minds of children, who are being inculcated daily with similar messages that are being taught by teachers who share Obama’s Communist philosophy – is equivalent to openly supporting a terrorist attack on American soil.
Words fail to express the contempt I have for Obama as a human being. He is condemning the very thing that made America great. And specific to that point, America was great before there was an Obama. It should be a punishable offense to allow him to undermine that greatness.
America is in denial to believe that he is not a Communist, doing everything in his power to forcibly and insidiously transform the nation into same. It is misinformation for the media, political pundits, and writers of opinion to report his actions in any other way. He is a manifestation of evil that threatens America in a way the KKK and AL Qaeda could but hope to.

I won't google that quote because I know you made it up - that wording would not pass - but it still speaks the truth.
The government does need to tax more, spend more and regulate more. Failing to do that is what put your country in the hole it's in now.

Since the dawn of time, people have paid taxes. Come on, you hate him because he´s black. Otherwise, why mentioning the KKK or Al Qaeda(hinting that he´s muslim)?

My knowledge of history extends no further than the last segment of The O'Reilly Factor, but I feel like making some kind of statement to impress my peers. Um... uh... OBAMA BAD!

@Matante - The full text of the president's speech in Osawatomie, KS can be found here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/president-obamas-economic-speech-in-osawatomie-kans/2011/12/06/gIQAVhe6ZO_story.html
As you guessed, the quotes mentioned here don't appear anywhere in the speech. In addition, a quick search reveals that the terms "limited", "rugged", "individualism" and "tax" appear a remarkable zero times throughout the piece.

So what you're saying is that anyone who says we need to pay a tiny bit more in taxes is a raging communist who wants to strip all rights from the American people. Got it. And you wonder why people think you and your type are reactionary.
And are you totally certain that the reason you hate him so much doesn't have anything to do with the color of his skin?
12/27/2011 8:54:56 AM
Um, no. If anything, Obama was advocating what Canada and European countries have. They are not communist dictatorships. LEARN THE FUCKING DIFFERENCE!
12/27/2011 9:26:23 AM
By European standards Barak Obama is a Conservative.
I can only think of one reason for this hatred.

Isn't it strange that The Daily Runt sounds just like the first guy I commented on!

Er, America never WAS "ruggedly individualistic" to begin with. We are, and have always been, dependent on our communities and each other. The closest we ever came to "rugged individualism" was the 1890s- AKA the Gilded Age, the age of robber barons, crushing poverty, monopolies, corruption, and- shock!- zero governmental safety nets and regulations.
By contrast, look at our most prosperous age- the 1950's and 1960's. The age of Eisenhower Republicanism, otherwise known as Dynamic Conservatism, when social saftey nets from the New Deal were recognized as the precious assets they are, Unionization was greater than today, the Middle Class roared into existence, taxes were much higher(but somehow businesses still existed!!), and people fought the good fight for civil rights. And won!
We were, in some ways, far more progressive in the '50s and '60s than we are today. I'm not advocating a regression to those days- only a conservative is stupid enough to try to repeat history- but rather, we should move forward from that point.
So what's the issue with Obama's (alleged)statements again?

I find it quite sad that you are so easily deceived.
12/29/2011 6:50:18 AM
hey reynardine, by euro standards, absolutely all american politicians are conservatives... with the ingrained fear of socialism, populism, and communism coming from the maccarthy (sp?) era no politician dares to say or try to change things the euro way in america. good or bad, you decide, but this guy is a loon even by american conservative standards...

That is what passes for communism in America? Goddamn sissies.

We tried unfettered capitalism.
It was called the nineteenth century.
