If the most productive time of salvation are the pre-teen years, and if the pre-teen years are the most vulnerable – does it not stand to reason that Satan would fiercely attack this time? Can we not see the overwhelming evidence of this Satanic attack on our children? From the sexual, sensual music of Britney Spears, or Nsync, to the occult and witchcraft of Harry Potter – there is an attack aimed directly at our children. It’s blasting from the TV, the music, the Internet, the peer pressure, the public schools – Satan’s attack literally "seeks" to "devour our children" into every "nook and cranny".

I have friends from countries where torture is commonplace, and one from a place where the government boils political opponents alive.
Thank you Terry for showing us that our priorities are wrong and we should we worrying about the evil influence of Britney Spears.
Britney Spears and N Sync?
Did you crawl under a rock in 1999 and never come out? Most of the people who were adolescents when those artists ruled MTV/the radio are now in their mid 20s and have things like cars, families, homes, and careers. Satan's powers must be highly overstated-I blame God's 2.2 billion-strong PR department on Earth
They used to talk like this about the Oz books and Treasure Island, too. Oh, Hell, Reynardine, bite your tongue. Don't remind them.
"If the most productive time of salvation are the pre-teen years, and if the pre-teen years are the most vulnerable does it not stand to reason that Satan would fiercely attack this time?"
Sounds like a reasonable tactic. One problem though: first you have to prove that Satan exists.
We're waiting...
How do you devour someone into every nook and cranny?
Harry Potter is a Christian allegory, stupid. He even sacrifices himself and comes back to life again. It's a story of the fight between good and evil, both within ourselves and in the world at large. If you are against Harry Potter, are you then for Lord Voldemort?
Satan’s attack literally "seeks" to "devour our children" into every "nook and cranny".
How does one "devour into" something? Oh, and learn how to use quotation marks.
Oh please. Britney, Nsync, and Harry Potter are so yesterday. Hey fundies! I hear that Led Zepplin and The Eagles are starting to put backwards Satanic messages in their rock & roll songs. Maybe you can get a handle on that. While you're at it, see if you can find anything on the rumors that Paul McCartney is dead.
Now if you wanted to claim that Satan is working through Justin Bieber, then I might have a hard time arguing with you. There's really no other way to explain his fame.
Ever listen to the backward Satanic messages on Country and Western songs?
Got back my wife, got back my dog, got back my pickup truck.
If the most productive time of indoctrination are the pre-teen years, and if the pre-teen years are the most vulnerable does it not stand to reason that the clergy would relentlessly sell at this time? Can we not see the overwhelming evidence of this clerical attack on our children? From the asexual, guilt-tripping music of The Jonas Brothers, or 4Him, to the occult and witchcraft of Harry Potter there is an attack aimed directly at our children's ability to reason. It’s blasting from the TV, the music, the Internet, the peer pressure, the churches Religion’s attack literally "seeks" to "devour our children" into every "nook and cranny".
Fixed, except for: CHILDREN AREN'T ENGLISH MUFFINS!
Nsync? Seriously?
The last time I heard about them was at least five years ago, when their former manager was found guilty of embezzlement and fraud. Maybe Justin Timberlake - but he's switched over to acting and a somewhat older audience, fairly successfully.
"Yeeeeezzzzzzzz....Get 'em while trheir young! Mold their minds for our dark nefarious plaaaannnn! MUHAAAHAHAHAAAA!"
Britney Spears & N'Sync?!
And I agree with breakerslion: CHILDREN AREN'T ENGLISH MUFFINS!
....Fruit Roll-Ups, yes...English Muffins, no....
Something to be learned here. Herein, with no exaggeration, is the mind of a fundie. They actually do believe they are in some life and death fight over souls, in the arena of the world, pitting gawd, angels, faith, etc, against satan, demons, spirits, etc. They really do believe in a make believe world in which all manner of invisible ghost are fighting around them all the time, trying to tempt you, and fighting to try to prevent you from yielding to that temptation with whatever powers of goodness those angels possess. Really, quite a scary world if you think about it. All imaginary. All perfectly packaged in a theology that exempts the all powerful gawd from squashing satan in a second. He could do so, but wont......as he has to test us to see if we can remain in the fold, and acquire his favour in order to get into heaven. (why does an all knowing gawd need to test us, doesnt he know all the answers without having to do any such test?).
No, that's why priests try to prey on little children before they can understand and talk back.
Well, one of the two reasons.
The site must be at least 10 years old, damn.
Nowadays, they would have replaced Britney with Hannah Montana, N Sync with Justin Bieber, Harry Potter with Twilight etc.
Pretty sure this guy is still stuck in the nineties. I thought people were over this shit. xD N-SYNC really aren't relevant anymore.
@Celianna, from my personal experience, the fundies love Twilight because it preaches abstinence and Christian family values. I think their new target is anime/manga, as well as Glee.
IOW "Let's indoctrinate our children to prevent them from being indoctrinated."
@breakerslion
"CHILDREN AREN'T ENGLISH MUFFINS!"
Thank you very much, mate. I now have to send out for some freshly baked muffins :D

" From the sexual, sensual music of Britney Spears, or Nsync, to the occult and witchcraft of Harry Potter there is an attack aimed directly at our children. "
There's those Jesus camps too.
EDIT: Just looked at the OP. The whole site is about how Santa Claus is Satan. The Point of this quote is how they have to make them believe when they are small children (the Santa believing age)or they'll lose them forever.
Holy shit, Terry! Britney Spears, N'Sync, Harry Potter? Jesus, man, welcome to the 90s! You've almost caught up with the rest of us.
It's no surprise that Terry Watkins, as a King James Bible Believer, lives in a world dominated by non-existent beings and that he can see things that they don't do and know things of which they are not the cause. Hardly surprising, since any Bible, let alone the King James Version, provides plentiful encouragement to lead a life of insanity and delusion, so much so that he can't help but babble crazy madness. Reality and the King James Bible, not happy bedfellows. And the Bible should certainly be avoided at all costs by those with mental problems. Very unhealthy indeed.
HARRY POTTER FOREVER!
I`ve been a devoted fan since Philosopher`s Stone was released, and still am. Harry Potter is not about the occult, but rather an amazing story about friendship, death, coming of age, and love, unrequited or otherwise. Crack open a book for once in your life.
You idiots have been picking on music for decades and it has gotten you miles and miles of regress.
REgress, as all it does is add power to the silly ideas of things like the devil offering men the blues at the crossroads.
(Sadly, I just know this'll set them on Eric Clapton yet again, but at least he's used to it!)
Kids today with their Nsync, and their Britany Spears, and their harry poters and their flying machines, and their yugiohs...
It does seem that there are some fundies out there who have a difficult time grasping the idea of 'fiction' as in stories such as Harry Potter.
I imagine it's understandable though. They still haven't seemed to figure out their own holy book is fiction.
"From the sexual, sensual music of Britney Spears, or Nsync, to the occult and witchcraft of Harry Potter ..."
You forgot that darn darkie music and the newfangled Charleston dance the younguns are doing these days.
@ His4Life
Got nothing better to do on Christmas day than go trolling? But you are right, kids are most impressionable at this age - which is precisely the age at which they are indoctrinated with this fundamentalist Christian horseshit that so many of them seem unable to shake off even when they allegedly grow up.
@His4Life:
You appear to be considering evangelism as some sort of competitive marketing scheme. From my perspective, practicing religion like this means that you are doing it wrong.
With regards to the quote - as others have noted, this is so outdated that the children of some of the teenagers who were fans of NSYNC in the late 1990's are almost teenagers themselves.
Sure, but the point remains. The popular music nd culture of modern America is not any better than it was when Nysync was popular. Kids are still listening to anti-Christian artists like Marilyn Manson, 30 Seconds to Mars, etc.
I disagree with your assessment of popular music, but there is no disputing matters of taste. Here's something for you to consider: by condemning somebody/something as "anti-Christian" - a label that I think is used in so many contradictory ways as to be meaningless - you automatically give them/it considerable publicity. It might be more effective for you to simply ignore them.
If you think that your message is not competitive within the current culture, then perhaps you need to reconsider what you are saying and how you are saying it, as well as reconsidering the entire idea of religion-as-marketing.
@ His4Life
You mean you have to brainwash them before the truth can take root? Get the unsubstantiated fairytales ingrained into their heads before they are old enough to grasp what a pile of bollocks it really is?
Fortunately, many of them eventually see the light. Otherwise, we (and especially the USA) would still be in the Dark Ages and you more than likely wouldn't have the Internet to do your trolling with.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
