Well, money is the root of many evils, especially greed, one of the seven deadly sins, I think that if god existed, that our mints would have been struck by lightning and burned to the ground repeatedly.

If God can be shunned and pushed to the side, as rhssm says, it makes God sound like an easily-bullied 90-pound weakling. Is this really the image Christians want of their deity?
