While I agree with much of the sentiment expressed here I would like to say that the world would be an immeasurably better place if religion were a quaint part of history. We should be focusing on productive ways to make that happen.

Lets not replace one violently repressive worldview with another, hmm? Otherwise there really isn't much point.

The way to get rid of religion is through education, not violence. We have reason on our side, lets use it, and not sink to the level of the backwards mindset we are fighting against.
