Experiencing with lesbianism is not the same thing as being a lesbian. That said, I'm all for more women experiencing with lesbianism.

I only skim-read it, but are you saying that you don't want J.C. Penny's to sell lesbians?

Sure, have a tall person promoting goods, next thing you know people will be experimenting with tallness! Arghhhh!
Seriously, same thing.

My understanding is that experimentation (as opposed to orientation) is promoted by same-sex schools, not J.C. Penney. I don't think J.C. Penney sells orientation at all.

I'd really like to see these studies you got, to bad they're smeared with crap due to being pulled from your ass.

I figure that any study linking homosexuality to depression only looks into half of the equation. The other half is the cause, which is often fundamentalists' bullying. The other studies: citation needed.
And most people in western societies consider women's bodies more aesthetically pleasing than men's bodies. (just look at the pictures of magazines dedicated to either gender; not a whole lot of difference between Cosmo and FHM...) Thus women might be more inclined to experiment than men.
JCPenney isn't going to change that.

huh, I thought it was having abortions that led to depression and breast cancer. or maybe the lesbians are getting pregnant so they can have abortions just to spite you guys.

So because Ellen Degeneres is a spokes person for JcPenny that automatically means that women are going to want to be lesbians?

Pff, it isn't the aknowledgement that lesbians exist that gives girls lesbian thoughts. It's how awesome female butts look. And there is NOTHING depressing about that. In short, argument that came out of an ass are beaten by the ass itself. But not his. I bet his ass is flat and saggy. Kinda like his post.
(I'm afraid I failed to take him seriously, does it show?)

Also, I don't see what's so terrible about lesbian experimentation anyway. If they turn out to like it, it could greatly enrich their lives.

Research has also indicated that fundamentalism in people increases depression, suicides, substance abuse, breast cancer and vaginal diseases in the people around them. To any objective observer, it should be clear that a decrease in fundamentalist activity will greatly improve health and wellbeing for homosexuals and society as a whole.

Will America’s young women be just a bit more likely to experiment with lesbianism now that JCPenney is mainstreaming it?
No. Either a person is gay or not gay. Finding out that a gay celebrity represents a major shopping chain is about as likely to make young girls lesbians as Harry Potter books are of turning young children into witches.
In short, you're a complete dolt and a fearmonger. I'd rather have a million Ellens in the world than another single hate addicted fundy. Unlike you people, Ellen is an amazing, beautiful person with a gentle and compassionate spirit. She embodies the beliefs and behaviors of your Christ far more than any of you ever will.

Will America’s young women be just a bit more likely to experiment with lesbianism now that JCPenney is mainstreaming it? Too any objective observer, the answer must be yes.
To any objective observer, Bryan Fischer is lying for Mammon... er, I mean Jesus.
*Sigh* Only in America can such blatant deception and sexual myth go unchallenged... I frankly ENCOURAGE Headache to go all out on this one. He'd be completely right.

{Will America’s young women be just a bit more likely to experiment with lesbianism now that JCPenney is mainstreaming it?}
Not anymore than Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl or all the other companies that have come out for gay rights, or all the TV beauty commercials Ellen appears in.
{Research has indicated that lesbians suffer from increased levels of depression, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, breast cancer and vaginal diseases compared to heterosexual women.}
[Citation needed]
{JCPenney will have to share some culpability for that.}
For gay depression and suicidal tendencies? No, that rests squarely on you, and those who think like you, who pressure gays into the closet or would rather they be dead (come on, let's face it). Again, you're going to need a citation for breast cancer and vaginal diseases, and by that I mean, a citation that shows a direct cause of a lesbian sex act, and the disease in question.

Increased levels of depression, substance abuse and suicide are patently related to the treatment lesbians receive from much of our society. I think the breast cancer and vaginal disease stats you cite were pulled from your butt.

Who says that JC Penney is "mainstreaming" lesbianism? Just because they kept Ellen on as advertising spokesperson doesn't mean that women will all of a sudden be experimenting with other women.
But just in case, I'm going to frequent JC Penney's with a video camera.

Oh, and do you know why homosexuals (both female and male) have higher levels of those symptoms? Because homophobes like you won't stop harassing them. In other words, you and people with your ideology HAVE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS.

Oh, noes! How dare Ellen get a job!
I mean, how can she have the gall to go out and get a job while being openly gay? That monster!
Hopefully these people learn how stupid they are, but I doubt it will happen. Religious idiocy is different from normal idiocy in which religious idiots refuse to learn from their mistakes, believing they are right in the face of facts that say otherwise.

So are you going to suddenly start experimenting with having gay sex now, Bryan? If not, why would you think anyone else would? Are you that much smarter than the rest of us?
