Why?

So, the Jewish Elders have enough money to not only found every war in history, but both sides of every war. They have enough power and influence that they can control all world politics with almost nobody realizing it. They can assassinate world leaders.

Why all this dicking around? Why not just be up front about it? With so much power, money, and influence they could indoctrinate every single generation of people into believing that serving the Jewish Elders was the proper thing to do. Why haven't they taken over already?
