Quote# 86419

At this point video could surface of Obama snorting lines in the Oval Office while posing for pictures with Louis Farrakhan, Hugo Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Al Sharpton and giving each of them a suitcase with $100 Million in cash AND NOTHING WOULD COME OF IT.

Forget Radical, he is a treasonous Communist- There isn’t even a word yet for what he is.

Nonetheless, the darkies, Libs, Media, academics, illiterati, crony capitalists, welfare cheats, Illegal Democrats, Radicals, Communists, anarchists, “environmentalists,” black nationalists, La Raza, Upper Eastside Jews, Hollywood and anyone else that would spit on the Constitution and regards anyone who works for their possessions with utter disdain and outright hatred – LOVE HIM.

Who do the Republicans run against him? Romney or Santorum… May as well have had Neville Chamberlain leading the Battle of Britain.

That last line is about right. As for the rest, get back to me when your property has been expropriated.

Illegal Democrats?????

Nothing would come of it, Kip, because it'd be the same photoshopped, creatively edited goo that the late Andrew Breitbart was so famous for.

What, are you just pissed off because the "secret" Obama college video which recently "surfaced" (and had been on PBS's website for the past four years) didn't show anything more provocative than Obama introducing one of his college professors before a crowd?

The fact that Fox News was making such a big deal about this video shows how desperate the Republicans are what with Romney and Santorum being the frontrunners to go up against Obama. It wasn't even making a mountain out of a molehill. It was making a mountain out of the flat plains of western Kansas.

At this point nothing has surfaced, despite the frantic efforts of bigoted assclowns like Kipling's Pantload here.

But Bollox is right, the last line's accurate: the R-tards' pathetic lineup is going to get destroyed.

And nobody cares! They WANT you to go!

Nah, that comparison makes it sound like Santorum or Romney could easily win an election.

At this point video could surface of Rush Limbaugh snorting lines in his studio while posing for pictures with David Duke, David Barton, Hosni Mubarak, and Joseph Kony, and giving each of them a suitcase with $100 Million in cash AND NOTHING WOULD COME OF IT.

Forget reactionary, he is a treasonous fascist. No, scratch that, there isn’t even a word yet for what he is.

Nonetheless, the fundies, robber-barons and anyone else that would spit on the Constitution and regards anyone who works for their possessions with utter disdain and outright hatred – LOVE HIM.

In any other country, the Fairness Doctrine would prevent idiots from believing his lies hook, line and sinker.

Fixed it for you, Mr. Disgrace-to-Kipling.

Not a word for what Obama is? How about milquetoast? No, really. When you dodge between his cult of personality that makes him out to be the second coming and the Republican's delusional ranting about being the devil himself, the guy has compromised close to every deal he promised to push through and given a number of non-committal comments about the issues he championed just a scant few years prior.

Overall from what I've seen he's a phenomenal public speaker, a decent politician, and far less of a colossal fuckup or malicious parasite than Americans are used to having in their governments but that's about the most positive thing I can say from his presidential performance so far.

Where the hell is this radically progressive President these idiots keep talking about, and what's his name, so I can vote for him?

Fawful has seen God has a vagina on top of his penis

Neville Chamberlain does not need to be insulted that way:

Before winning the Prime Minister position, Chamberlain was a successful MP, Postmaster General and Minister of Health. He was even Chancellor of the Exchequer twice (the second most important guy in British politics--like the American Vice President, except he does a bit more than just nod solemnly and give the occasional comforting neck-rub). He later passed the Factories Act, which improved the horrifying work conditions in factories and cut back on child labor. He was extremely popular and even made the cover of TIME in America.

If you're saying, "Sure, he was popular until he sold out to fucking Hitler!" you're wrong. After he made the deal in Munich his popularity shot up to 68 percent--20 points higher than what Barack Obama gets right now in the USA. Above all else, the people did not want to get into another freaking war.

That's one thing some historians are trying remind everyone about Chamberlain these days. Making the deal with Hitler looks bad now, because we know how the movie ends. Not so easy at the time, when Chamberlain was at the head of a country whose military was in no shape to fight, and the only ones who had offered to stand with him if he threw down against the Nazis were the freaking French. There were no good options on the table.

So instead, he came back home from making the deal with Hitler having bought a period of peace that he spent rapidly building the military that would eventually be strong enough to repel the Nazis. And by the way, the main reason they were able to mobilize so quickly was because of an earlier national program to modernize the nation's factories. A program put in place by... Neville Chamberlain.

The debate rages among historians (and will probably rage in the comments) but the guy probably deserves better than to have his name thrown around as the political equivalent of "pussy."

He's right - I am opposed to Obama's policies, but Romney and Santorum are unconscionable assholes. I will not vote for either of them. Romney is a liar and a flip-flopper and Santorum is a racist bigot and quite possibly queer as folk.

@Fawful.
Indeed Chamberlain gets badmouthed because Churchill had him smeared by the press.
Chamberlain declared war in '39, and proposed an immediate invasion of Germany...
It was Churchill who called for a slow blockade instead.

Can we just post the word "Moonbattery" and just make comments about it ad infinitum? I think it would be faster than actually having to quote them. Just an open Moonbattery item each week, assume asshattery, and comments ensue. More efficient all around.

@His4Life

I want to ask you exactly which of Obama's policies you find so objectionable. But I know it'll probably be something along the lines of "killing babies, no prayer in schools and SOCIALISM!!" None of which is remotely related to him. Honestly, if a freaking hundredth of what Glenn Beck and El Rushbo said about him was true, he'd be impeached by now.

Maybe I'm just being unreasonable, wanting people's political grievances to come from reality rather than bullshit spewed by bigoted, rich old white dudes with raging entitlement and persecution complexes. But it would make me very, very happy if you could give me one good policy-based reason you dislike Obama so much. Just what has he done that is anything out of the ordinary? Certainly not the bailout, which economists and both parties agree was the only thing between us and economic catastrophe. Certainly not private universal health care, which was proposed by Republican Theodore Roosevelt a century ago, and actually reduces the deficit. And who would fault him for bailing out the auto industry or raising the debt ceiling or ending the Iraq war or killing Bin Laden? Seriously, help me out here, I'm having difficulty understanding where you're coming from.

3/18/2012 12:01:04 AM

If you think that Obama is a communist, don't even think that the video will save your integrity.

@J.James
He is a CHRISTIAN, he hasn't ended the war on drugs, he laughs at marijuana legalization debates, he signed the NDAA and extension of patriot act, he didn't close Guantanamo, he is a typical "personality cult" type of guy. And no, I am not a "rich white guy".

3/18/2012 10:22:00 AM

J. James

@nonpartisan

Who asked you? I was talking to His4Life. I'm referring to the CONSERVATIVES' gripe with him, based on talk radio pundits like Beck, Limbaugh and Savage.

What you listed were areas where some liberals -such as myself- disagree with him, conservatives actually like that he is a Christian that doesn't want to legalize pot and supports the so-called "Patriot" act(not that they'll ever, ever admit that).

Furthermore, in those particular aspects his competition is far-and-away worse than he is. And everything else for that matter. But the conservatives(His4Life excepted, and I'm still wondering why) ADORE them for it!

So yes, the question still stands. What has Obama done that makes conservatives hate him so much?! The man is more true to so-called "Conservative values" than Ronald Reagan was! Reagan passed the largest tax raises in US history... And Obama has cut them, most notably the payroll tax cuts and the Bush tax cut extension. Reagan increased government spending, percentage-wise, far more than Obama did!

So clearly, the matter isn't fiscal in nature. Is it because of "values"? Let's see... Gun rights, still in place... Christianity, still given absurd, undeserved deference and privelege... Israel, still our ally... Moslem extremists, still being blown to bits in the middle east... The "values" scene looks pretty much exactly the same as when he took office.

So what? What on earth is it?

At this point God itself could appear on Earth, indisputably prove It's existence and divinity through scientifically sound means, then say that it just popped down to verify that Obama was born in Hawaii, and is neither Marxist nor Muslim, and nothing would come of it. Morons like this would claim that it was a government conspiracy to ensure Obama's reelection.

@J.James
I actually have an issue with the bailing out of the auto industry I think that the auto industry is unsustanable and I think that if they said we'll give you this money if you un-scrap the Volt, or something else like that but I know that with your crazy american system it wouldn't have worked so I don't fault the Obama administration for that I fault the American system.

As to that at consevatives;
1) he didn't go to church
2) He has a progressive air to him, being black and all
3) He's a democrat and democrats are wrong.

real, reasons?
It's cute that you think that right wing people who are so afraid of communism they don't actually even remember what it is can think and come up with good sensical reasons for things.
