I had read somewhere that during the London blitz that angels may have taken over the controls of RAf fighters when the pilots were killed.

"angels"

Nah, you've mixed up the "Doctor Who" episodes "Blink" with the 'Weeping Angels', and "Victory of the Daleks" - in which three Supermarine Spitfires are refitted to fly in space (via a genius scientist - actually an android created by the Daleks) to battle a Dalek ship.

But then, it's easy for a moron like you acelow(IQ) to confuse things; but "Doctor Who" is a documentary series. [/hyper-sarcasm] [/Whovian]

""I had read somewhere that during the London blitz that angels may have taken over the controls of RAf fighters when the pilots were killed."

Ah, so when Douglas Bader was flying his Spitfire, post-amputations, those 'angels' were controlling the rudder pedals for him, seeing as he had tin legs?! [/hyper-sarcasm II]

...oh, and what about the elite Interceptor pilots for Spectrum on Cloudbase, in "Captain Scarlet"?! [/nerd] [/Gerry Anderson]

I read somewhere that the evil tyrant Xenu, ruler of the Galactic Confederacy dumped people around volcanoes and then blew them up. Their souls then took control of us humans, making us believe in angels and Jebus.

For a moment I thought there is something wrong with me that the first thought I had reading acelow's text was about these two Doctor Who episodes...

But it seens I am not alone...

Great minds think alike. Even some Battle of Britain veterans approved of those scenes in that particular "Doctor Who" episode; if it brought to the attention of new generations of viewers the heroism of those Spitfire & Hurricane pilots (either vs. Hitler's Luftwaffe in RL, or vs Daleks in fiction), all the better. Speaking of which...:

...the last remaining of 'The Few' would like a word with you, arselow. Re. their comrades who never came home, as per the above memorial.

What pisses me of about Christianity is how much its adherents tell you that you didn't achieve anything. You didn't work your ass off to get where you are, it was all given by God. You weren't an army of badasses who fought for their country in the sky and died heroes' deaths to win, it was all angels! You never had to achieve anything, because God, damn it, did everything! Bleh. Makes me wanna puke. And yeah, GLORY TO THE OMNISSIAH! 01000100010001010101010101010011001000000100110101000101010000110100100001000001010011100100100101000011010101010101001100100001
