I never cared for MIB, the movie. It seems to glorify these men that "protect" the human race from "evil aliens" whilst preventing the knowledge of the "good aliens" from the human race. Total disinformation, to say the least.

And I resent the unfair presentation of the Orc race in LOTR movies. Nothing but slander upon slander! Do not make me come over and work our WAAAGGHH on you...

Don't get me started on what Disney did to Dwarves!

You know, I had my suspicions that conspiracy theorists believe that all works of fiction are real, but it's rare that one will actually admit it. For crying out loud, it's a MOVIE. It has no basis in fact. Idiot!

MIB is the shit.

Disinformation? I thought the MIB movies were based on a comic book.

@ Doubting Thomas:

More than a few of the tinfoil hat wearers have believed there is some kind of "Men in Black" organization that covers up UFO sightings since at least the 70's. This is why the movies and comics are action comedies, to make fun of the people who believe it.

I am shocked with all the inter-species liaisons in ME3. Human with asari may seem just fun and games but it's a slippery slope to human and kroghan.

Don't let this guy anywhere near Deus Ex.

@Brendan Rizzo - Actually, MIB does have at least some (hear me out, here) basis in fact. Obviously not the whole deal about a secretive agency with access to alien supertechnology providing safa haven for alien refugees, but the conspiracy theories that already sprung from various UFO sightings. Whether true or not, several people purportedly report visits from shadowy government agents after seeing weird shit, and the story alone seems pretty juicy to make a film out of.

Personally, I wouldn't want to say the men in black thing is entirely bogus. It seems that in the Cold War, the US government would be likely to take reports of weird shit in its skies extremely seriously, even if on closer inspection it turned out to be Venus. Just in case. I mean, these are the same guys who had an arms race of fibs about psychic ability -
"We have a dude who can fly"
"Yeah, well we have a dude who can motherfucking teleport!"
"Yeah, well we have a dude who can kill people with his mind!"
And so on.

Same with Deus Ex, as Raised by Horses mentioned - based upon existing conspiracy theories. Do never let this guy play it though. D:

I think you've confused the word 'disinformation' with 'fiction'. Try again.

THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENS IN MIB AT ALL.
MIB EXISTS TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR ALIENS, IN THE FORM OF PROTECTION AND INTEGRATION INTO SOCIETY.

I want to show these guys a few episodes of "Doctor Who" and see if they think it's real, too.
