[ after explaining how science does NOT provide evidence of the Bible ]

did you all stop reading halfway through? Give it a sincere shot then spam your hate.... The more we learn about quantum physics the more it points to intelligent design of everything. Like a computer for example; you can tell the 1's and 0's to be random, but it requires someone to tell them to start being random. Turns out the universe/multiverse works similar (so its beginning to seem, and these are secular physicist's who are leading the charge. Again, instead of telling me how full of rubbish I am... Google it and do the research). And with string theory (which we are just beginning to get a handle on) and the differences with light speed, it can easily throw off any timetable we are capable of coming up with on earth, so with time and light speed all being relative, a million years on this earth could be a day elsewhere and vice versa. There is the science, beyond this I'm leaning on faith.

Everyone thinks that nature supports their pet theories, because the human mind naturally creates theories to better understand and predict the natural world. The only way to determine what theories are true is through science. The fact that our theories are wrong in the vast majority of cases is the entire reason that science exists.

Nothing you have mentioned suggests any intelligent creator to me. (I do not even believe that your comment had an intelligent creator. BURN!)

Like a computer for example; you can tell the 1's and 0's to be random, but it requires someone to tell them to start being random.

What the hell are you talking about? And why are you putting apostrophes in plurals?

Turns out the universe/multiverse works similar (so its beginning to seem, and these are secular physicist's who are leading the charge. Again, instead of telling me how full of rubbish I am... Google it and do the research).

Are you saying that the universe is naturally ordered until someone [god?] tells it not to be so? This is word salad, man. And you're telling us to do the research?

And with string theory (which we are just beginning to get a handle on)...

Just to bring you up to speed, we don't really have a handle on either string theory or quantum mechanics. They're all in their infancy at best and most physicists agree that no one really understands either.

and the differences with light speed, it can easily throw off any timetable we are capable of coming up with on earth, so with time and light speed all being relative,

Had you done any reading about relativity, you'd know that the speed of light is NOT relative.

a million years on this earth could be a day elsewhere and vice versa.

How so? Is Earth moving at relativistic speeds relative to god?

There is the science, beyond this I'm leaning on faith.

Where is 'the science' you mention? All I did read was a bunch of expensive sounding words of which you don't seem to know the meaning.

There may very well be a single underlying force that holds the cosmos together. We commonly know it as gravity and we are still trying to unravel its mysteries.

The problem, though, is that a book that describes the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter as 3, will give us no real insight into those aforementioned mysteries. Furthermore, Greek contemporaries to the authors of the bible were better able to calculate this ratio so...

I've read the bible, from front to back. There is nothing in it that even comes close to equating with science. Fairy tales never do!

Googling is not 'doing the research'. Neither is 'reading articles in Wikipedia'. And, yeah, my students, I am looking at you. A depressingly large number of you.

Ok, for the sake of argument, let's say all that is pure solid gold scientific fact.

Having (allegedly) then understood the science, why the need to shoe-horn in a magic man in the sky and 'faith'???

Generally speaking, whenever anyone invokes quantum I consider the debate over. It often reeks of desperation. Why is it you claim we "don't understand well" or "are just starting to understand" yet you do understand well enough to use as support for... whatever it is you think it supports?

I did the research. You are full of rubbish.

"and the differences with light speed"

There are no differences with lightspeed. That rubbish was invented to make your mythology fit observed reality.

I bet 10$ that you don't know what you're talking about and are using big words in the hope that others don't understand them and say you're right. I'm sorry, this is not a church.
What has come out of theoretical physics since the 1950s is, as far as we know, largely untestable, and it really does not say what you said it says. And your argument souds a lot like a misunderstanding of a soundbite of Einstein vs Copenhagen interpretation (God playing dice etc), which has really been done to death.

I really wish they'd explain how the speed of light changes. They could win a Nobel prize if they'd only publish a study which proves it.

Unfortunately, though, all this "sciency" sounding babble still doesn't prove that Yahweh is the one true god and his son Jesus is the only way to heaven. Christians always think that if they can prove one thing in science wrong, then it means the bible is true.

So, order (as they thought the universe was entirely based on in classical physics) implies God. We've found that there is some profound randomness and chaos in the universe and that somehow implies God too? I give up, there's absolutely NOTHING that believers won't attribute to God (or Satan). Tell you what, give me some criteria we want to validate BEFORE we discover them (you know, make some actual predictions like real science does) and then we can take your ideas seriously. Otherwise you're just being another among billions of Texas sharpshooters.

> Like a computer for example; you can tell the 1's and 0's to be random, but it requires someone to tell them to start being random.

Fun fact: in computing, random numbers aren't random. Generating truly random numbers on deterministic systems like computers is surprisingly hard. Most people settle for pseudo-random numbers that are generally fairly predictable. (Seriously, go look at some tool-assisted speedruns of video games. The people who make those really take everything out of RNG abuse.)

If you want to get more entropy, you gather it from... wait for it... events generated by human interaction or other devices that measure events that are beyond the system's control.

Most cryptographic systems usually seem to fire up the RNGs through "please move the mouse and type random crap" stuff. That's human interaction and human decisiosn. Are you saying humans are gods? Or are you saying humans lack free will?

the 1's and 0's are not random. they are based on a hexadecimal string at the beginning of the code. the only thing that is even close to what you are talking about is the mathematical constant "e". and that is it. it doesnt even relate to everything, just some things. it is becoming increasingly obvious that the universe operates on a set of completely arbitrary rules, with no cause, or consequences, except for what we see around us. sorry, kid, but its time to suck it up and face that daddy isnt coming home.

the speed of light is relative in only one sense: light emits from an object at the speed of light relative to that object. for example, if an object is hurtling upwards at 1000 km/s, and emits a beam of light perpendicular to its travel path, the light will be both traveling upwards at 1000km/s, AND traveling away from the object at the speed of light. we can use this property of light, apply our own speed, and figure out how fast things are traveling and in what directions.

you are an idiot and dont know anything about computers, quantum physics, the bible(apparently), or evolution. as far as im concerned, the sole purpose of your existence is to use oxygen and waste otherwise useful organic matter.
