I fail to see how showing solidarity for a teenager who was killed as a result of racism is being racist. And I'm sure that the Klan was fully justified in counter-protesting Emmet Till's memorial service way back when, right?

Pffft. What is the Klan going to do, sit around and whine about how much they hate black people? They're totally ineffective any more and have rightly been marginalized in today's society. If the pointy white hoods were to come out, they'd be met with total revulsion and disgust.

I would actually much prefer if the white hoods came out again, because at least then it would be obvious. Then the blatant racists who attack the character of a dead 17 year old child, and say with apparent straight faces that wearing a hoodie makes one a target, wouldn't be able to hide behind their polite language and neat suits. Then they would truly be treated for the scum they are.
