Quote# 86932

Romney is like a bullet in the head. Suicide is the coward's way out. I will go third party, even voting for Paul, over that degenerate Romney. If the country wants to commit suicide, let them do so! If Romney wins, it is clear that God has decided to bring judgment on the country. A Romney nomination does not bode well for our future. It's time to start stocking up on food and ammunition if you haven't already. Go and sink with the USS Romney, I'll stay in Texas.

Filin De Blanc

Aha! Rapture Ready was wrong, Romney was the Antichrist all along!

I'm sure the people of America will be heartbroken over your decision to abstain from voting.

And get all your friends to do the same!

Every single Republican candidate who claimed to be endorsed by god didn't even get the nomination. That is how powerful your supposed almighty is, you paranoid delusional simpleton.

Jezebel's Evil Sister

YES! Go all third party on their asses! That'll show 'em!

Thank you, Apollo. Since you aren't voting, that increases the chances of the Democrats staying in office.

I thought Obama's election was supposed to have been God's judgment? man, these doomsayers change their stories so often...

4/16/2012 5:06:09 AM

Except for the advice to vote for Paul, I don't see a damn thing wrong with that.

4/16/2012 5:58:13 AM

Mister Spak

I'm glad to see youve come to your senses.

Too bad you didn't come to your senses in the 2000 elections. We could have avoided that incident in NYC.

4/16/2012 5:58:32 AM

Yay, the religions reich doesn't want either candidate! Or at least this guy. Hopefully that's how it ends up.

4/16/2012 6:12:25 AM

Too bad you can't stock up on intelligence and good sense.

4/16/2012 7:05:52 AM

I love it when they fight among themselves as to who is more conservative than whom. It makes me all warm and fuzzy to know that their infighting will be helpful to their enemies.

"It's time to start stocking up on food and ammunition if you haven't already. Go and sink with the USS Romney, I'll stay in Texas."

Why not go all the way and secede from the Union? With a Mexico-esque border around Texas, with nothing going in or out; squeezing you until the pips squeak. I suggest you watch the Ealing Comedy film "Passport to Pimlico", if you know what's good for you.

@Filin De Blanc

"Aha! Rapture Ready was wrong, Romney was the Antichrist all along!"

There are those on Ruptured Retards who - true to their Christian convictions - will vote for Romney regardless (despite them previously stating they never would; him being a 'RINO', 'Flip-Flopping', policy-wise, not being 'Socially Conservative' enough for them, him being a Mormon etc); 'Anyone But Obama' and all that jazz.

So, 'Flip-Flopping' like him eh, RR? Nope, no hypocrisy on your part, nosiree! [/hyper-sarcasm]

@Jezebel's Evil Sister

"YES! Go all third party on their asses! That'll show 'em!"

Which is why - until 2010 - the Liberal Democrats (our own 'Third Party') here in the UK were in the political wilderness for over 80 years, electorally (and post-2010, was only because there was a hung Parliament, and the fact that Cameron's Conservative Party are in No. 10 are purely down to the grace & MP numbers of Nick Clegg & his LibDems).

Somehow, I doubt Ron Paul is going anywhere. Two words: Ralph Nader.

4/16/2012 8:07:49 AM

Ah, politics, you really are the crazy mind killer we know and love.

4/16/2012 8:21:17 AM

You're forgetting the obvious, the more right-wingers like you vote for "the third party", the likelier the outcome will be a landslide for Obama.

4/16/2012 8:42:30 AM

Already trying to claim excuses for Romney's loss, eh?

4/16/2012 8:52:44 AM

So, how many Presidential candidates is it now who've brought on the apocalypse?

Clinton (twice)
Obama (once so far)
Actually all non-Republican nominees since late 60's. (dozens)

4/16/2012 9:14:04 AM

Doesn't matter that Romney got nominated, since he probably won't win. And voting for a third-party candidate doesn't work. It'd be good if it did, but right now, you might as well wipe your ass with your ballot and flush it if you're voting for a third-party candidate. Hope you like Obama.

4/16/2012 10:38:34 AM

Doubting Thomas

And this is why I'm convinced that Obama will win a second term. Too many Republicans are afraid to vote for "that kind" of Christian.

I just love the conundrum that fundie Christian Republicans find themselves in this election year. Do they stick with their convictions and not vote for Romney which would allow the evil Marxist communist Kenyan-born usurper win a second term, or do they bite the bullet and vote for an evil Mormon cultist who wears magic underwear?

Of course my greatest desire would be for Santorum to run on a third-party ticket to completely split the anti-Obama vote, but no such luck yet.

Texas, home of the Bush League? Yes, please, DON'T bring it on.

4/16/2012 12:00:00 PM

Old Viking

But of all those candidates, Romney is the only one who can tie his shoes.

4/16/2012 12:22:48 PM

Lets hope that more republicans think this way.

4/16/2012 12:23:49 PM

I'll stay in Texas

I'll chip in half the rent for your trailer home if you do. I'll send you the $4.20 for next month right now.

4/16/2012 12:41:29 PM

No, Old Viking, he simply can afford to have people tie his shoes for him.
