i was watching gloria copeland a few nights ago and she was saying that what you set before your eyes and listen to with your ears reflects whats in your heart and vice versa. i mean what you watch affects your heart.
so likewise, listen to godly music, or at least...if you know its wrong..dont listen!
it could affect your relationship with god as it affects your heart or even your blessings from him.

My guess is that they're afraid of it. Music can induce an emotional response and I think the fundies are afraid the little sliver of control music has over them because of that. They even get paranoid over which types of gospel music are safe to listen to. Questions like \"is it morally acceptable to listen to music featuring insturments, or should it all be acappella?\" are actually serious matter of contention for some of these people.
