"The US governments main goal is to gain as much technology and information possible before being forced to go public."
Methinks someone has watched Stargate SG-1 once too often.
"there is more than enough credible documentation to back up every single bit of it"
Which I'm sure you will conveniently fail to provide if asked.
"People are just so brainwashed at this point that they cannot even see the truth when its staring them in the face."
This sentence is entirely correct for all the wrong reasons.

Translation: "I've read a lot of UFO conspiracy websites to get this information."

To the people who think this person has watched too much television sci-fi - it's probably the other way around. X-Files and SG-1 took a lot of material from people like these.
Rather hilariously, many a woowoo has decided that their stuff appearing on primetime television is "proof" that the entertainment industry knows the "truth" about it, because apparently they live in a world where TV writers don't have access to the Internet.

Which government was keeping this secret in 13AD then? How and why were they bothering to do so?

Yes, Roswell happened. It was a real event. Yes, the government lied about it for a long time. It wasn't quite a weather balloon. But there certainly weren't any alien spacecraft.

If you've ever seen what the Roswell debris is supposed to have looked like and compare it to the equipment carried by the Mogul balloons you'd realize they're the same. No alien conspiracies here, just Cold War secrecy.

Because it's fine to tell a B-movie actor like Reagan, but you wouldn't want to share any science with an actual nuclear engineer.

You'd think that civilizations technologically advanced enough to travel all the way to Earth wouldn't have so much trouble announcing their presence, especially if they've been doing it for thousands of years. Did the ancient Egyptians have MIBs, too?

As soon as you knuckleheads produce credible evidence of alien visits in the form, say, of a patently other-worldly piece of technology, I'll believe. Until then you're just blowing hot air.
